47:48 No. It has nothing to do with whether devs play or don't play the game. Developers are not some dumb idiots that design the worst possible vertical system just because they don't play the game and are unaware of how unfun it is to interact with those systems. The one and only reason such systems are put in place is because game ultimately exists solely to make money, and not so that some average f2p Joe can have fun playing a game with his friends. It is sad that this is the approach of many companies, but it is 100% the truth why these systems are designed like that. Saint talked about how culturally our regions differ, average salary man in KR swipes regularly to skip content like chaos dungeon and cube, content that is by design meant to be a nuisance and a waste of time so that people swipe to skip it. When western players ask for rework of chaos dungeon, or only having to do it once, the reason it can't be done is because it goes against the whole philosophy of why chaos dungeon even exists in the first place, it exists as unfun mandatory content that they hope you will swipe to skip.

As a new player, even if solo raids "kills the game" its fine. I know that sounds extremely selfish but the game itself is selfish already. Watching 200youtube guides on a raid isnt gonna help much until you get actual experience doing the raid, which means you either gotta have friends willing to teach or find some randoms to teach and hope they dont rage at you... which sucks! Most guilds dont even want new players and even if they take you in you still gotta beg for them to teach you a raid. Let the solo raids come and if the game dies it dies.

NA/EU having the same price on goldsinks that were made for korean inflation and content drought makes no sense. Hell i wish we could get 3-5 months of not having any honing/transcendance/elixir to do and just work on gems or roster alts in general. Instead for the last 6 months i've been stuck in a loop of never honing an alt, not upgrading a SINGLE gem on main, only so i can do my elixirs/hone to 1630/transcend. and even then the river runs dry. I don't even know why i'm trying to hone for 1630 either when the standard is pretty much full lvl 10s and +25 weapon. Honestly we have it way worse then KR ever did and we just accept the shitsandwich they constantly serve us. (We might complain alot on reddit/forums but in general our complaints are NEVER listened to) Welp, swipe ur card or start bussing, that's the only two options you have if you realistically wanna reach endgame and compete with the general public of the top 1%ers) If you EVER took a break from this game GL&HF when you get to 1600>1620 with ur elixirs and transcendance whilst being stuck with a roster with multiple 1520/1540 alts that are supposed to do Kaya NM/Brel/Vykas or clown for gold raids LOL which are nerfed.

Returned to this game 3 weeks ago. I quit the game after Vykas. Now returning my experience so far has been very stressfull. The mokokopass is nice but it punishes you alot for choosing a class you didnt like eventually and you are stuck with it. All my alts are at 1460ish and all get rejected in vykas/valtan content because you need to be over 1540, have all the cards and gems etc. So you are going from lobby to lobby finding a group that takes you in. And once you get in you find out people dont know the mechanics and the group is gone again. Joining most guilds require you to know all the content you never did before and there is nothing you can do to progress without being dependand on others not blocking the door.

As much as I like and respect Saintone. His opinion isn’t valuable much because its like every KR streamer; illimited gameplay time, started the game 1-3 years before us and they do the raids only few months before us. Also he’s better than most players so he doesn’t see a problem with thaemine. -Thaemine takes way too much time and he is too difficult for avg pugs. -transcendences is too expensive and is boring as fuck -elixirs too expensive and takes too much times -echidna honing difficulty should be the norm for every honing level

21:25 nha. it is always a pro and honestly almost a necessity to me that aim for great things. to have six characters. but ofc that premise work only if you know where to park them. wich is 1540 - 1580 range. So you can have x5 time the amount of red stone to funnel your main daily. surely i hope there are not people stupid enough to go beyond 1580 getting jailed inside "harder upper legion raids content" that only add something like a linear 4-2K gold. (like u said in that video Misox, the cost of systems in lost ark going up exponentially while raid giving "linear" gold gain) i think Saintone (whale/spender) overlook a bit how important are these thing to do for the average free2play player life. (that ultimately will cause burn-out tho) like for example, i always do my cube in all characters, and you know what? even if they introduce again the x3 ticket use. if by choosing that option i don't get the exact value of running 3 stand alone cubes, i'm still stuck doing it one by one to have the max income. that's what a free2play life is. Saint. the same reason why that stupid stronghold functionality that allow you to ship a guardian raid run don't work for me. Because it dosen't consume the freaking rest bonus bar. Game is so full of useless/outdated features. there could be a solution inside the stronghold. like is easy. they just don't want to. The meta right now is creating other steam account and going "horizontal" in this way... grind with the event express pass. legion + full rested stuff in those accounts. then passing your gold with an accessory to your main account. (grey area, you can always say that is your cousin helping you. sure sure -_-) I BOUGHT like 6 characters slot back in the day so i could play 12 chaos.... those 60 euro i spent could have been used to activate the trusted status on other steam accounts. how is possible that everytime i supported this game buying skin, or stuff in-game. i only got punish with getting "less value" than looking for other methods? even character slot back in the day... what they say is true, if you shop in game in this game you only end up being ridiculous in return. THEY GOTTA GIVE US GOLD CONTENT!!

Theres more context to people quiting during argos. The economy had a crazy deflation because they got rid of bots for month with the steam trusted account system. Naruni race made purple books worthless. So people all of a sudden didnt know how to make gold anymore. I was lucky enough to hit 1370 with that anniversary gift we got. i might have quit back than if i didnt. I think its easy to say that argos really didnt matter in hindsight. I mean i was able to do valtan hard and vycass hard week 1. But argos definably hurt the game in a major way.

its just sad to watch good people/content creators get stuck in this gaming stockholm syndrome of really bad p2w games and also watch them trying to justify why its not so bad. insanely sad.

Hear me out: Solo Raids NEED to be TIED to 8 man raids. The MAIN POINT of Solo raiding should be "less rewards but getting unjailed". We need be able to go "Fk I got jailed on G2 Akkan... Alright, let me go do it solo for 65-75% of the rewards and then hop back on to 8 man G3 cuz groups in g2 are inexistant." It is IMO very important for solo raids to offer a "crossing" feature allowing us to do this. Don't get me wrong, if they end up just being a less exaushting form of gold generation it's fine, but that would be a missed opportunity in my book. That's also why I think the 60-75% reward is important. If you go too low, they would be useless, if you go to high they would make 8/4 man raiding obsolete.
