is Malbs good for G2? (austincs)

I'm personally very excited to see how malbs does in G2, and I do think he's good for them.

i think it will too, idk why people are shitting on it so hard without seeing it play out first. malbs is a huge upgrade over nexa and whether people like it or not snax is a fragging upgrade over hooxi, also, it will allow them to play mirage again since their firepower got drastically improved

@@jd__9389 seems like people are hung up on roles over lapping. I think malbs is good enough to be able to adapt and change his game to fit g2.

Yep, its either truly good or truly bad.... no in between but statistically wise, this new G2 roster is much better than the predecessor. (The prime with JKS one is also the best one and the one that works with hooxi as IGL).

G2 thought process: - guys, whenever Niko is having one of those days or just dies without getting anything done our strats crumble, what can we do? - What if.. What if we had 2 Nikos!? If he dies, we just have to use the spare Niko and the strat would be safe - 🤨... 🤔... 😮 You're a fucking genius Nexa!! Then you're out.

I feel like this pickup was meant to move Niko into a move IGL role like in Dallas, but I have no clue what they want to do now that they've signed snax. Btw, malbs, the LATAM hope (and my legend).

the problem is that anchoring pit (which will most likely be the role assigned to him in the G2 roster if they decide to play Inferno) is very different from anchoring and playing B so there's still a huge room for error and chance for malbs to underperform

Who says snax cant be the anchor? Hooxie used to play b with niko so he could play it aggressive and die for a trade or two, snax has enough firepower to hold a site down and also while anchoring has enough time to give callouts

no it will be snax, role wise for most places the swap will be snax for nexa and malbs for hooxi

If Hunter transitions into more of a support and anchor piece this will be a god tier pickup. If G2 forces Malbs to play anchor positions this will be a terrible pickup.

useless since they don't play anyone good there, they disrespect the enemy team all the time on faceit and push every round. I watched all faceits from new g2 and they didn't play like they would against a good team a single time so far since they didn't need to.

I appreciate the content but disagree with your take on pistol round being random/not interesting. At least among T1 teams it feels like a pure skill check for who wins, with Zywoo, NiKo and mONESY dominating in pistol rounds.

Maybe random isn't the correct word, but pistol rounds aren't all that interesting when doing demo reviews, since they are mainly about who makes the correct gambles and hits the necessary shots so there's not much to analyze.
