Ahhhh….poor lil’ Sprucie! I was feeling sad for the little guy when he was crying for y’all! But, like you said, he has to learn to be alone. And, Mario? There's a definite bond between Herc and Spruce. Every situation is different and in your case its going wonderful with Mario. You guys are so attentive to them which I believe plays a huge role. Just keep doing what you two are doing 🙏🙌💕

Spruce has lightened in color. He is more blond and gray than when he was born. He was more redish brown. He is sure testing his boundries. I am glad that Herc is protecting him from the other goats.

The 1st thing I noticed was your popping green background. Same here in Delaware, cool, rainy and getting nice and lush. He is so precious. All the goats are. Congratulation on all your children. It is the never ending adventure of "Romper Room". LOL Love them.

Kyle- interesting hack - wherever you don’t wasps to nest- spray WD-40. Really works. It’s waterproof so you only need to spray once a year. ❤️🐼💜

OMG! Spruce is just so cute! He can't be still! It's difficult to remember that Mario & Quiji were the little boys not that long ago. Herc is being so good with Spruce. I can hear Spruce calling you while you are in Goatville. So, you may have more kids in a few months. It'll be interesting to see if you do! Spruce & his jumping make my day!

We still have some cold nights ahead (30's) so it's more about making sure he's warm, not that we think Herc can't protect him. He'll be with them soon 😉 He's just now almost a month old, we want to give him a little time to get bigger 🙂

Spruce is a hoot. Watching him makes me laugh. He and Herc are a great duo. Spruce is sad, Mom come get me. Really enjoying the goats eating the leaves from the slender little trees. Never a dull moment with goats around. Is there a fence between your land and your neighbors? I wish I had Spruces energy

Kyle & Shannon, we had a gully washer last night. Knocked our power out for several hours. So we had limbs clean up earlier. It’s down in the 70’s I think. Spruce is just so cute, it’s a shame he has to grow up. 😅😅😅 You can hear Spruce but it’s good for him to get use to being alone, even if for just a few minutes. I know it’s hard letting him cry, it was hard for me as a human mom to let my twins cry but sometimes they had to because I was a single mom. And I had to work.

When we were raising goats, we had about four or five acres of pasture with some bushes along the fence rolls they would eat weeds, grass, as well as the bushes. The goats are browsers and will eat the different foods during the day. We didn't feed grain except it the extreme cold comes in the middle of winter. We raised meat goats.

I can't believe how fast Spruce is growing, Hurc is so sweet with Spruce. I love the videos it is so interesting seeing the goats and how they interact. Blueeyes seems so shy, and the pin for Spruce and future baby goats is looking good.

Goats don’t like rain! They are made of pure sugar… they would melt!! Spruce is made of super fine sugar. He’d melt so fast!! Spruce want to get up on Herc’s head. Then he’ll be the biggest!! They have done so much in GoatVille! It’s always fun to see the update! Thanks for taking us along Blessings ❤

Lester and Jami let mama feed the baby goats for ten days two weeks and then they took over because they said it was easier to handle the goats if they had to medicate them or worm them or if they get hurt, their more sociable.

Leaving Spruce crying so loud could attract coyotes. He may be okay in the pen on his own when he can see the other goats. You don't want to alert coyotes especially when you are getting chickens.
