As a proud canadian and someone who has traveled to several countries, mexico rules. mexico once viewed as a third world country, now stands poised to lead north america into the future. dont listen the the crap sold to you by the media, this country is safe, stable and a value. home to some of the sweetest people i have ever met. alot of us are questioning the cost of living, and general crap of our home countries.politics, and general bullshit. Viva mexico. I wish this channel all the best...keep up the good work.

I am Mexican and although I appreciate your attempt to counter the exaggerated bad news from the US media, I must say that it is not right to cover the sun with one finger either.. No, Mexico is not safe... we have a BRUTAL number of murders, we have the first place in rape and murder of women and the first places in child abuse or maltreatment Massacres and executions in a large part of the country. Almost every Mexican knows of an acquaintance or family member who was murdered by organized crime that charges you a fee, extorts you...

Beautiful presentation on some of the best that Mexico City has to offer. Just a couple of things: Mexican independence from Spain was made official with the signing of the Treaty of Córdoba in 1821, not 1921. The Mexican War of Independence started in 1810 and should not be confused with the period of civil war called the Mexican Revolution (1910-1917). Cheers!

@HDA1324
@HDA1324 Жыл бұрын

Language not lenguage. Everything in my Walmart is in both English and Spanish. Half the masses in my church are in Spanish. The USA is much more bilingual than Mexico City. I live in CDMX half the year and never ever see nor expect anything in English.

@luisjorgegonzalezperez7476
@luisjorgegonzalezperez7476 Жыл бұрын

crime and corruption is ridiculous in the city so no thanks. Some areas are ok and safe-ish, but for most expats it's not a good living experience. As a foreigner you will always be targeted by various individuals

mexico needs a negative income tax.
@ShouldWeLiveHere
@ShouldWeLiveHere Жыл бұрын
I hadn’t heard of that before- I’ll have to read more about how it compares to a universal basic income. First they need to enforce their existing tax laws more effectively. And digital nomads and other expats need to pay the taxes they owe.

@@ShouldWeLiveHere And why do they all come to Mexico City? WE DON'T FIT HERE!! there is no more space for more people from other countries!! The City is full to its maximum capacity!! a lot of people, a lot of traffic, a lot of smog pollution! Why don't they go to other cities if they like Mexico so much for convenience? many Central American, South American and now North American foreigners, those of us who were born here feel robbed!

You need to do better "paisanos" being mexican myself and having been away from my beautiful country for the last 6 years I can tell you it makes me so proud to see and from other people's perspectives how wonderful our land and people is, it makes me sad and embarrassed to see how a few fellow mexicans treat immigrants, just remember, the people who discriminate against us mexicans or hate us are not the ones moving to our beautiful country, to you people that have nothing good to say, do better, to the people coming from other countries, be welcome, and I wish you the best, remember, mi casa tu casa.

@@MRBRAINWASH_ absolutely agree, but I think the root of people's hate comes from a very real problem that is linked to lack of work opportunity, the unregulated real state industry in Mexico City and overall inequality. These are all problems that anyone living in Mexico should be concerned about and at least be pressuring the government to give solutions
