Is Modern Benoni in trouble?

Ай бұрынRecently Modern Benoni has been very trendy thanks to the efforts of Super GM Richard Rapport. Also Magnus played it successfully during Grenke tournament. I have already recommended this line (Four pawn attack) 4 years ago (you can find it on my site ask-avrukh.com), but now I came up with surprising 9.Be2, which in my opinion creates a lot of problems for Black players. Thank you very much for this active line for White. A question: What do you recommend if Black plays the delayed Benoni with ... Nf6 ... e6 ... then 3. ... c5. ?

This is where White has a major crossroad 3.Nc3 , 3.Nf3 and 3.g3 , that being said only 3.Nc3 would allow us to get the variation covered in my video.

your microfone sensitivity needs to be adjusted urgently. I'm listening with speakers and very often during this clip there is just thunder that I think there is an earthquake. otherwise, good content, thanks. P.S.: Moskalenko analysed the move Be2 some years ago and suggests it in his book 1 d4 Attacking repertoire, so it's not exactly a new discovery.

@@Sough different sound system probably? I have good speakers and my bass is noticable because I like to hear it when listening to music.
