Staying hydrated and taking electrolytes definitely helped me stabilize my blood pressure. Unfortunately, my doctors weren't any help in figuring this out.

Thanks for this video. I have always had low bp. 110s/70s, recently it has dropped to the 90s/60s HR 80s, however there are symptoms like fatigue, lightheadness, sleepy, tired so I am working on bringing it up.

Thank you. PCP didn't want me to take Propranolol for migraines because BP tends to run low neuro rx Verapamil been monitoring my BP before I start and wasn't sure what signs to look for or how low was too low if I started. Yours was the first video that explained all that.

My blood pressure seems to be lower when I lie down. Like 90 something over 60 something. Then it get a little higher though out the day. I am a little dizzy at times. But no heart palpitations. Should I sleep with compression socks on? Thanks for the info.

I have hyper pots and a connective tissue disorder (cEDS) . I also have an active csf leak. My blood pressure readings at my pcp have been 70/40, 65/45. I get a liter of fluids and have a port. I can’t see with this and have drop attacks. I’m on 3 meds for pots but the csf leak is causing this. Doc says usually these bp readings are an emergency situation.

Any of you who are complaining about your primary doctor and how he is not treating your BP correctly need to see a cardiologist.....I did several years ago. Age has a bearing on what your normal BP should be. I now go to a senior healthcare doctor....one who treats people 55+ only. My regular primary was teling me my BMI was too high....31...and I was obese and needed to lose 30 lbs. My geriatric doctor said having a little more weight on me was no big deal. The reason being was if you get sick and start to lose weight your body will also get weak. I had cancer and in a 2 month period I lost over 40 lbs. If I had been the required weight of my other doctor, I would have weight 99 lbs..at that age....76...and that weight your body will start to break down and get extremely weak. My new doctor said 130/80 is acceptably

Check your heart rate too ! Too low all the time can cause congestive heart failure or heart failure.

I have Hypotension it doesn't really bother me,but when my blood pressure gets to normal I feel like I'm going to blow up. The weird thing is when I take a Goody's powder my blood pressure goes down.

I got my BP way too low and wow… I got so woozy and thought I was going to faint

I get a very painfull headache, check my bp and its 100/46, and it takes a while to get my dystolic up again

Trying hard for a top number above 100. I have a prescription but it has gotten erratic so I have to take a reading before I leave the house. Down to 70 is ok but not fun. Lower means hospital trip weather I need it or not. 80s not as comfortable as it was.

That's crazy. Nobody is going to be feeling any good with diastolic very much below 60.

Although taking blood pressure readings in a consistent manner my blood pressure readings can swing dramatically - 153/91 and repeat after 3 mins - 118/86mm Hg. Sometimes the second reading is slightly higher than the first or lower than the first. There is just no consistency. The reading taken using a Omron M10-IT. When the doctor took my blood pressure it was up at 230/116mm Hg - tad high. Unfortunately the doctor / nurses when checking blood pressure over a period - only 'average' the readings and don't act when the reading vary widely. What can you do? - ignore the wide readings because the doctor won't act anyway? Blood pressure drugs will only bring down the blood pressure by a certain amount - so can result in abnormal low pressure - resulting in increased risk of falling over and broken bones - which is worse?.

Does she ever get to the point? Got to find someone that gets to the point
