Thanks so much for doing the spray bottle test. Seeing how your hair responded to the light misting makes it a definite 'no' for me. It gets really humid where I'm from, and your hair definitely reacted to the water. But thanks for taking one for the team!

I'm wondering if maybe her blow dryer wasn't used on a hot setting. 🤔If she used a cool setting, then it wouldn't have activated the wow spray. I have seen a lot of videos with other naturalistas using this product and they definitely apply more tension and make sure the blow dryer is on the hot setting (not necessarily the highest heat setting, but hot and apply more tension then she did) They do say on the directions to use a brush while blow drying so maybe the comb attachment just didn't rake the product through enought. As far as humidity, many of them were in humid climates also and their hair held up for more then 2 weeks!! I got it myself today and will comment back with my results if you would like. 🙂 I also live in a humid area and the temperature is already in the 80's and it's only spring lol and humidity will be around 80% Sunday so wish me luck🙈🙈 if anyone else wants an update, let me know!!

i will say....theres a big difference between high humidity (you can feel the weight of the air but no wetness on the skin) and misting the hair with water, the product doesnt say you can mist your hair with water and it wont frizz up. I worked out with straight hair for a week...only taking my hair down when it was completely dry, was outside in humid DC and my hair was perfection all week. Also highly recommend ensuring your hair is trimmed, a split ends make the hair appear frizzier than it really is.

@@SashieETV my point was...u poured water on ur hair and it frizzed...its called "dreamcoat anti humidity spray" not "dreamcoat anti pour water on your hair spray". no it was the only product i used. just that....blow dry and then flat iron. i just recommend that you try it and dont wet ur hair, just let ur hair be in normal elements and then give it a review.

Yay, another natural testing this out! I just went out and bought a small bottle from Ulta today. I first saw Curly Chris use it too. Your hair is closer to my texture though. Thank you for taking one for the team with that spray bottle. I'm still excited to try. What temp did you have you flat iron on?

UPDATE: I tried it last night and it was a FAIL for me. I'm a straight haired natural so I've tried it all and this left my hair dry, straw-like and hair reverted way faster than when I use a serum. I am going to try their Coconut Cocktail though.

I didn’t. I believe the product acts as a heat protectant. My hair reverted 100%.

I think the beads of water didn’t fall off completely because your hair wasn’t flat iron as smooth as the chick in the video promoting the product. but it seem like the stuff worked. I just ordered some. I’m nervous but excited at the same time.

To offer some suggestions. I dont think i saw you use a heat protectant and i think it does not contain heat protectant. Also I think it mightve worked a little better if you added it again right before flat ironing. Im saying this because I need this to work for me rotfl. Let us know if you try it again.

If you wet your hair it will revert back. However if you go out on humidity the products works well. Even with a perm if you wet it will revert. In the video the person only put a few drops on it.

That's not a silk press. You have to use a fine-tooth comb to achieve that texture. You used a "denman" type brush and that's not the same.

The comb or brush used doesn’t determine whether or not it is a silk press. A silk press is using a flat iron to make natural hair straight and ideally silky smooth. Thanks for watching. 🤍

I used Wow on my hair. The first my looked beautiful. It felt good too! I really thought it was going to work. I flew to Florida the next day and it completely Frizzed up. To say I was disappointed is an understated. I will say this that I didn't spray a liberal amount throughout my hair as directed. I will try this product one more time. But if it doesn't work I'm done with silk presses 🫡
