Let's be real... nfs Hot pursuit really introduces you to the world of Sports and Super cars with their car description before you select a car.. Hot pursuit is like a car enthusiasts game same as Forza Motorsport 4 but arcade

The Rivals score is genuinely fucking phenomenal, it is so intense and anxiety and stress inducing Trying to escape as a racer with barely any health while the Redview County Police throw everything they've got at you is already amazing, but when those intensity 3 tracks kick in, it's a right out horror game for racers

It's all made worse by how how coordinated they are, if it's one thing I've noticed with these cops, is that if you get hit by one of their weapons and spin out, all the other cop AIs will instinctively turn on their weapons as well, whether it's Helicopters, ESF, or EMPs It's incredible what Criterion and Ghost Games managed to create in the stupidly short time window they had to create this game

@@BlackPanthaa u don't really like rivals either, u just think it's the 'best' of the 'worst' NFS games and prefer it over hot pursuit (which is the wrong preference btw). U and I both know that if hot pursuit had customization and 150 different variations of the r34 skyline you'd glaze the game to death

@@GT-rz6xp nope, it's still missing a lot of depth that the new games have. The map for one is lacking routes. It feels very outdated. It's a fun game, but they feel like simple arcade machine games compared to most of the other games

@@BlackPanthaa hot pursuit isn't trying to be something it's not (like unbound, heat, payback etc) and the simplicity is one of the best parts of the game. What depth are u talking about? Corny storyline? JDM sh*itboxes? Customization? Boring gameplay? Sh*tty NFS MW 05 handling? The fact that u listed hot pursuit as one of the worst NFS games instead of NFS 2015 is absolutely insane and it just further proves my point. Plus u said that it 'feels like an arcade machine game' which by that logic every other modern NFS game feels like an arcade machine game. The simplicity, no corny storyline, the car sounds, no customization (so that u can't turn the Murcielago LP 640 or the Aston DBS into an abomination), the online multiplayer, the satisfying game mechanics, the perfect brake2drift handling model, the beautiful and diverse map, the car list, little details like the narrator telling u all the facts about your favourite supercar/hypercar, the sense of speed and the fact that u can just relax and choose to free roam with your favourite supercar/hypercar without the cops constantly trying to kill u (like in rivals) is what makes this game feel so much more fun and more polished than the braindead and unbelievably corny NFS games like NFS unbound, MW 05, 2015, payback, heat etc. It feels like a game made for car enthusiasts compared to NFS unbound etc. which just panders to braindead MW 05 fanboys and 12 year old Supra kids

This is why NFS is in that state. He is the one ruining the franchise and one of the die hard fans on copium. He's praising MW 2005 like a God.

Oh and I forgot to mention that Theo himself is the reason why the community is so fucking delusional. He's pushing the tuning culture and customization so that most NFS games will stick to it's old Black Box roots like the OG Most Wanted and Carbon had.

Progression*

@@BlackPanthaaHot Pursuit started with a boxter, and ended with Bugatti’s and koenigseggs. That *is* progression. Never mind the weapons, which scale throughout.

​@@jordanclark4635HP had low end cars like the 370z, RX8, and Evo X to name a few, there is progression in those games, the only game to not feel like theres progression is 2012 since you can unlock all the mods on a car in like 30 minutes and only 10 cars aren't available to you at the start

@@BlackPanthaa There is progression. Instead of progressing one crap car all the way to the top, you progress by unlocking faster cars. The emphases is on the cars themselves rather than what you do to them, which is why supercars were the focus of these games.

@@Soxynosyeah you scroll all the way to “Options” then go to “Autolog” then hit “Play Alone” or offline. They removed this option in 2015

So many big KZfaqrs claim Rivals is online only when there’s a menu to play single player lol. It’s Autolog that’s online only.

@@nightwolf9375 2015 has that option aswell (game settings menu). You can play alone but it still requires a connection unlike Rivals

Another way to access the offline version of the game is to sign out of your PSN account before starting the game up. Then, when you start the game up and it asks if you want to sign in, just say no.

Most likely, they weren't going to be hostile to racers. If you notice in trailers and beta gameplay, there were clearly more characters in the story. Or, to put it simply, the whole story was clearly different. Remember, they got their development time cut short. So there's a good chance a lot of content was cut during the late stages of the game and possibly having to redo a lot on a short notice.

What's about The Arms race mode ?

Many people do because Rivals was regarded trash during it's launch. And as the years go by people start to love playing it which it doesn't even make fucking sense. Rivals in general is just Zetsubou no Shima of NFS. Both are underrated. If you're a COD Zombies player you truly know Zetsubou why it's hated at launch, same thing with Rivals.

@@ralphlorenzperolino3054 i personally got it a year or 2 ago for the Xbox 360,now that i have a newest gen console i got the Xbox one version and i love the game,so yes it does make sense to check out a game a few years after launch after all the bugs have been patched out and stuff

Blame that to EA for cutting development short. It had quite a lot removed during development. Story was different, sounds, detail, sfx, the game would have been polished a whole lot better if they weren't cut short.

Nfs Hot Pursuit 2010 is still the best modern NFS.

I mean, rivals is hot pursuit 2. Just with more added to it. In fact, there would have been way more if development wasn't cut short. So lots of content was cut and you can definitely tell it has some unfinished mechanics and features.

NFS is in that state because of him, he's just pushing the tuning culture more and made fans stubborn and close-minded. He's just too fucking delusional at this point.

Yet I constantly ask for more gameplay types and not new cars, funny that...

@@BlackPanthaa Theo, listen. Nfs Shift isn't your favorite NFS even when it has a whole new and different gameplay in NFS series. So you're not clear what you want. Different races, and pursuit events have been there from the start of NFS and in NFS HP 2010 you play these gameplays in two different perspective, better than any nfs after or before. It's about how you excute these gameplays. That is what NFS HP 2010 did right and its sucessors failed at, till today.
