Exactly people dont Understand what a nightmare of a player Drogba was playing against defenders were absolutely terrified of him he is probably the best hold up and link up striker in the history he is the reason Lampard has so many goals you couldnt wrestle him of the ball he was so strong and his movements was impeccable creating space for his teammates to run into and score not to mention how clinical he was once he actually got a chance to score he wasn't a tap in striker so no Jackson shouldnt ever be compared to Drogba

I think he has the worst stat of xg leading to goals In the prem. Somewhere around 14 xg with actual 10 goals. That's really bad for a team like Chelsea that are aiming high

Yesterday he was our best player on the pitch he just couldn’t finish , which yes obviously needs improving. But he’s been thrown in the deep end and I feel for the guy. Put him on the wing with a proper number 9 and he’ll shine.

We need to keep Jackson. There shud be an experienced back up but this guy will develop into a beast. He's everything you need from a striker.. rarely misses a game and continues to cause trouble for defenders.

This is year 1 version of Jackson. *Very* good ball carrying and link up. Yes, final third needs work. But we've seen more than enough to suggest he'll be a very good wide forward.

Imagine the pressure of coming into a new big club with all your blunders for the world to see. Training your entire life to be elite only to have a mixed performance at your new club totally affects your ego and confidence. What a tough gig. He can get better. The team lacks leadership on the field. There are better strikers available. But, given that we aren't playing European Football. Things seem grim for Chelsea. But, they need a quality forward. Nkunku just like Reece James is injury prone. I don't know how many games he will play.

In his first season at a young age, 13 goals and 5 assists is nothing to scoff at. I think Chelsea should be patient. I’m not sold on any number 9 options currently. There is no Haaland, Kane, etc. The only name somewhat close is Osimhen and I don’t believe he’s a guarantee so why rush. Give this lad a second season and assess in the winter market or the following summer.

He's done decently this season, it's only his second season in top flight football and he seems naturally suited, yes the mistakes are a plenty but at least he's still finding the back of the net consistently enough, given Nkunku will be in the lineup too there's room for rotation between them to play the no 9
