Sometimes you don’t have to change the entire piece of furniture to make a big impact. With the brains and skills of my dad, we transformed this Heywood Wakefield sideboard into a more modern piece, while still maintaining its originality- and the best part is we did it without using any glue or splicing!

We were so excited to find such a quality piece of furniture that we didn’t want to make any changes that would take away from its elegance. For only about $100 (given, my dad has quite an extensive workshop), we were able to update this sideboard that no one wanted originally. Now let’s put it back up on facebook marketplace and see what we can get for it!
Keep in mind that not every furniture flip has to make a piece modern. Though no changes really needed to be made on this one, that would be boring for me and dad. You don’t have to be a lover of rattan cane webbing to know it's a timeless addition, and on an older piece it may look outdated, but who doesn’t love a little vintage?
