Yes, yes, yes! I needed to hear someone say this! I’ve only been shooting 10 weeks, and this is what I’ve been experimenting with the last week, wondering... . If I remember to push my elbow to as high as comfortably possible, I get arrows touching. If I forget to check in with my elbow I get arrows touching, but it a different spot. I thought I was crazy until I started to digest it. I needed to hear someone like you confirm it. Thank you! I really find your videos helpful!

EVERY time I watch one of Levi's videos I learn something new and instructional! I have been shooting for 40 years and "safer at home" has forced me to learn how to shoot a hinge correctly. These videos are SO damn good and make SO much sense!!

It took 25 years to hear this BUT now I know why I am always “slightly” off to the right. Consistently. Time to bring it over. 👍. Thanks as always Levi!

I learned all abut release angles decades ago. You change releases, and shoot through paper, and your tuning will change. Been that way for a looooong time. All us old timers know this stuff. Trick is, whatever release you plan to use.... tune with that release, and all will be good.

Levi I got the TruFire Sear because you endorsed it… shot 30 arrows and the set screw came lose.. tightened it up, and when it seemed solid, mid draw the set screw stripped all the threads and launched back at my mouth at Mach Jesus, knocking me clean out cold… Ordered a replacement 3 days later, the replace ment smacked my in the eye. Returned 2 within a week,, if I were you I’d be racing to remove any enforcement from those releases

I was literally experimenting with release angle tonight before I even saw this! It definitely does change how you shoot and it affects accuracy/consistency. Thank you for all your amazing insights. You have helped make me a better archer ever since I started watching you on TV and KZfaq from 2010-present. And more importantly your steadfastness to your walk with Christ is very encouraging!

Damn this might have solved my problem with a hinge. I’ve been hitting right with my UV hinge vs my UV bottom. I’ve noticed I hold my hinge a lot flatter than my button. Thanks for the tip!!

I simply can change up my angle, if I do, all goes to pot. Seems to be no real answer. Three inch groups will have to do, and changing up at this stage of my hunting life just won't work. Love the page...........

Insane! I was just wondering about this. One day I'll be hitting my center and the next morning completely missing by inches but grouping is on point. So I tune my bow to where I'm hitting the Center again and the next day same thing, I'll be missing but groups are solid. Thank you I'll be paying attention to this tomorrow

Thanks for that cool video. Could you do a new video about the process of the Push-Pull technique with a trigger release? I mean the principles are clear but how you make it and what you think it is important and why. There are so many variables like Release Placement etc. which affects the whole system.

Levi , if your D-loop isn't long enough....as you change the angle of the release.... isn't that also gonna change your shot impact since a twisted D loop is gonna put torque on the string ???

I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and input. I have a Halon pro comp and found that the new string is extending to the point of impacting the cable guide. Small pieces of the kisser was being left behind on the guide so I removed the kisser incase the weight of it is a factor cause I have no idea. Never had this issue with a bow and worried the string will be compromised, this is my only outlet to decompress from life. Please help when and if u can. Love ur vids and much respect.

Hey Levi. I'm a swhacker man and I have a question. I'm going elk hunting for the first time this year and planning on shooting the 1.75 swhacker. Total arrow grain weight is 464 at 60lbs on my bow. Is this a good elk combo?

Great advice!! I need a little help, I seem to consistently miss low at my 90 yard practice distance, not always, but when I do miss I miss low. Inconsistent anchor? Keep in mind I only practice with my fixed blade broadheads, from 80 and in I'm dead on. Curious how much the blades on my broadheads affect accuracy at long range.

@Finq08 everything you said makes total sense, outstanding advice I really appreciate it. I also have the tendency to hold/aim low, what you said about a lower anchor point at long distance will help tremendously. Strange how I forget these fundamentals, I've been at this archery game a long time. Also what you said about draw feeling too long is what I feel at 90+ yards and scrunched up at close range, I will work on the things you recommend. Thank you again
