I’ve been using shrimposte for a bit and I love it, though there’s some things I must say.. first off if your running shell bash your best bet is to invest in ranged defense because it can already somewhat defend against most melee attacks with the 50% damage reduction shell bash gives so like brawny clever with heavy shield/health amulet for shell bash and other moves OR robust clever for shell bash + dodge with health amulet (which is kind of evil I know but it’s the only other gimmick shrimposte has unless it gets battering ram soon ) overall I think shrimposte needs a lot more love but it’s so much fun to play with

You can basically run shrimposte like prawnsu but meelee that would probably be really good people are honestly using shrimposte wrong

I mean clutch one on that melee one is also an opition.

hey uh its my birthday (really) but i kinda hope you try out springling at a setup doodle (vitality, entangling vines, bee summon, equality, quick strike, deter jelly, max speed), i also would like to see an in-depth showcase on ruby showcase, because i know you already used it yay

I use brawny nimble with clutch as the ability and rage ful plushie with accel, hydro slash, para, and mega punch which works really well for me as I guarantee live one hit, plus you get the rage buff and accel for the speed to outspeed. You could prob use shell bash instead of hydro for it too but I haven’t tried it yet, since I feel like it wouldn’t be very good to only have shell bash as a stab move. I guess maybe you could do shell bash, hydro, para, mega punch with it, but the accel boost is really nice for outspeeding.

ok maybe shrimposte isnt as bad as it seems on paper, but it still has lycanroc midnight syndrome (being the slower bulkier counterpart but not losing enough speed for the extra bulk to make a difference)

The problem with running Shrimposte is that... *Prawnsu just does it's job better.* No I ain't saying that because Prawnsu has a higher speed stat (Which to be fair that is one of the points), but it's the fact that if both ran clutch, then both are gonna run Rageful. The user that is far more terrifying *IS PRAWNSU.* Shrimposte's entire signature move is actually a Negative for Clutch + Rageful sets. The entire idea of Shell Bash is that *YOU TAKE THE HIT* and *Deliver it back 2 fold* yet *You can't do that if your HP is at 1* If it's the first turn right and this is your lead. If you use Shell Bash, then your speed will let you down since you didn't use accelerate on top of the fact you lost Clutch from taking the Hit and striking back. All you getting now is the 2+ M. Atk from rageful. This makes Shell Bash pretty worthless for accelerate + rageful + clutch sets. This leaves you stuck using the far weaker water move in Hydro Slash which is only 70 in power compared to what Prawnsu is packing. Prawnsu on the other hand got the better stick of it. A better speed stat at which Bulk doesn't matter if your entire gig is clutch + rageful + accelerate where you want to snowball. Then Prawnsu was giving a far better signature move that deals 110 in Power, and got 100% accuracy. The defense and range defense drop don't matter. What I'm saying is that Prawnsu is the Superior choice to Shrimposte. Which is kinda sad.

I dont wanna be that guy but i am first and you are using it wrong, or atleast in my opinion. The set you should go for is Plunge, Accelerate, Mega Punch, Parasitize, Clutch ability and Rageful Plushie. The idea is that they set off the clutch ability, and the rageful plushie and use accelerate, then literally just SWEEP the entire game like its not even a joke this set is hella op, and the downside of plunge can also be a good thing bc it does a lot of chip to a loomian that switched in, and then any move you have will one shot bc of your m attack boost, and you are faster than any other loomian because of accelerate. The only downside, and major downside is if they have clutch plushie but otherwise its a CLEAN sweep. Also the personality should be very brawny, clumsy and tender/foolish, doesnt matter which one but dont have sluggish or frail

Dont use Shrimposte with Specialty Boots, use with Rageful Plushie, with Raheful Plushie Shell Bash can stay being good, you can use Accelerate too, so you can outspeed so many loomians.

i think shrimpost works because in 2v2 it always one shots when smth use a soulburst (clutch plushie so i survive)
