Peter wont do it, he hated the rework of Carpet Crawlers and never plays anything Genesis at his shows... To redo Lamb you would need the Banks and Rutherford as well.... Collins cant drum, did you not see the last thing he did?? They had to strap the sticks to his hands...... He may have written new stuff, but I think his voice has gone now... Sorry......

This is more of a question than a statement, but wouldn't it be two different things singing for two hours on a stage versus singing a few minutes in the studio? On a tour he has to "sing carefully" to save his voice, but when working in the studio he could do some takes every now and then when his voice is fit. Also, the new songs would of course be more adapted to his current singing voice than the old songs. There would be nothing like "Against All Odds" or "I Wish It Would Rain Down".

Video doesn’t seem to be much of a priority for musicians these days. Just isn’t the same revenue platforms to justify the cost.

Yup…there’s some audio out there of Phil soloing a bit during the lamb sessions and it’s unlike the Genesis or solo career drumming from the live releases, more like what he used to do with Brand X. Could it be that Concord will get hold of the Brand X catalogue? Arguably that’s where Drumeo would find more interesting nuggets to talk about. Phils playing kind of stopped developing around the time Face Value appeared, probably because his priorities changed. I’ve been keen to hear the drumeo interview to see if he actually really talks about drumming, the technical aspects especially, because he never seems to get down to the nuts and bolts in interviews, is even slightly evasive preferring to stick to chat about “putting his Bonham hat on” here or “my Cobham” hat here etc..rather than really talking technique and parts etc…

@@samib9256Indeed they were great (and look great on the shelf!) but might be cool to see an album by album retrospective - studio album, demos, live show, video content, a book of photos and essays etc. For example, The Who are about to release Who's Next as a big super deluxe with all that stuff, and an Atmos mix too... the 2007 Genesis boxes had DTS 5.1 surround on SACDs and could be remixed to the latest formats as part of any re-release campaign. More than happy to clear a space for any Genesis super deluxe box sets :-)

At the time he had bought my stereo equipment, he told me, I can go to any stores to buy my stereo equipment and my uncle bought me whatever I wanted. My uncle is very wealthy, which is why I won't mention exactly where he lives or his name. He's in good health, and in his 70s, as my uncle is one of my younger uncles. Yes, he has spoiled me. Yes, my parents had occupations, on one hand made good money, but on the other hand, couldn't afford the stereo equipment that I wanted. My parents were actually happy the my uncle bought me my stereo equipment. Sadly, I've long lost both of my parents. I'm a lifelong resident, of the town that I grew up in. My parents are originally from down the river, WV. When I listed all of the stereo components that I have, I forgot one other component, I also have Pioneer CD player, 6 disc changer magazine model. On ebay, I buy blank open reel to reel tapes, Maxwell metal, as my open reel to reel, is calibrated to only use Maxell metal tapes. On ebay, I also buy blank 8 Track tapes, for my Panasonic recorder player 8 Track tape deck and those tapes, are from Radio Shack. As for Radio Shack, during the 1970s---1980s, that was a really great store. Yes, my Pioneer receiver has an analog tuner, and 35 watts. I'll tell you, concerning vintage 2 channel stereo, 35 watts, is alot of power, a clean running receiver. The Realistic Optimus T-100 tower speakers, are rated at 100 watts max. I had the speakers replaced a few years ago, with Foster speakers from Japan. What awesome speakers! Wow, the sound kicks butt! People would who owned the Realistic Mach 2 speakers, replaced their speakers with Foster speakers from Japan. I also had new crossovers installed in the T- 100 speakers, at the time I had the Foster speakers installed. For many years, I've been taking my stereo equipment, to Pittsburgh to an electronics man, when getting my stereo equipment serviced or upgraded. I mean, I was in either 8th or 9th grade when my uncle bought my Realistic Lab 420 Turntable, and good lands, were talking 1976 or 1977. That Turntable plays records flawlessly, I mean flawlessly. In addition to fully automatic and direct drive, the Turntable has antiskate and tracking adjustment controls that you adjust manually. The operating instructions, strongly recommend setting the antiskate and tracking to factory settings. The Turntable, also has the neostroboscope for accurate speed, when playing records. I record my vinyl records on my open reel to reel, and both my Pioneer cassette deck and open reel to reel, are hooked up to my JVC SEA 33 graphic equalizer. Talk about sweet sound, through the equalizer! Get this-- I also have full size pinball machine, that you find in arcades. I have, in my apartment, Williams Whitewater, that came out in 1993. Whe you have a pinball machine or any other arcade game in your home, the arcade game or pinball, is setup for unlimited free play, no quarters or tokens necessary. Take care, Alan.
