I bought a7iii few months back. Here is a my experience till now as a fashion photographer. One problem i faced with a7iii is that its screen is really poor. It doesnt show right colours some times. Other then that its a amazing camera.

Canon R8 is also a good camera but A7m4 is beyond basic brother... the price difference is approximately 1 lakh... and it also depend on which brand you choose sony or canon... for cinematography my suggestion is sony
