Man, JJK is like, made only from the best tropes and characters in the history of shounen. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you and "first time watch it" again. PS: as good as JJK is (probably in my top 15 pieces of artistic works I've ever experienced), I strongly recommend you to put Mob Psycho 100 and Psycho-Pass on your radar. While not as explosive and bombastic as JJK, they scratch the same mental itch JJK does - but better.

Psycho pass wasn't my favourite anime but Mob Psycho is definitely a top 10, it's also one of the few animes that actually finished which makes it even better.

@@stavik96 I really enjoy the themes of Society, Justice and Freedon in Psycho-Pass. It's the type of anime that can carve a lasting impact in someone if it clicks, too bad it didn't to you, but it happens. And Yeah, Mob Psycho is my 6° favorite piece of media, and One's ultimate Masterpiece. It's character work is somenthing to be studied in literature school, in my opinion

@@miahan8988 wow, the soundtrack? I confess I rarely take much interest in it while watching anime, so I will do a listening of it when I'm free. What made me fall in love with it was... Well, everything else. The themes, characters, discussions and viewpoints in Society, it's astounding how it all comes together in Akane's character at the end, when she finds her own beliefs about it.

This episode really shows what first drew me into this series. Sukuna isn't a special power like the nine tailed fox demon for Naruto or Ichigo's hollow form where they were and still are "bad" but also serve as a special power for the main character. Sukuna is actively antagonizing force that will scheme against his own host, try to get in his way, and mocks his host for being so weak. He's not a rage form for when Yuji is losing a fight. He's a villain that has to be beaten and it's such a refreshing take on the whole having a beast sealed inside you trope.

@@Xeno1_3 No. Spoilers for the end of the Arrancar arc of Bleach: An expiremental Vasto Lorde hollow was put inside of his mother before he was born and transfered to him after. It effectively fused into him and became his power but conflicts with his power as a quincy. His conflicting powes lead to his true strength being suppressed and only slowly unlocked bit by bit throughout the series.

Just so you know, Domain Expansion is like Bankai, but in jjk it’s even a bigger deal because only like 4-5 people in the world can do it, including Sukuna. Please keep that in mind because it’s really important :)

You are not appropriate but serious too. (There are many difficult parts). I do look at spoiler-free discussions for scenes I just can't figure out. I don't know if there is a discussion in English. If you like jujutsu kaisen, you'll love chainsaw man, which is in the same genre but a little different. Personally I prefer chainsaw man to jujutsu kaisen but anyway both are in my top 3 anime.

Fushiguro's Ten Shadows technique allows him to summon a bunch of different shikigami (like the ones we've seen, dogs, bird, snake and frog). Of course, he doesn't have mastery over all 10 of them, but it's already a pretty versatile technique. Advanced mastery would also allow him to control multiple different shikigami for a combo attack, like how he saved Kugisaki with the frog while snake was attacking. Edit: Also, keep in mind that this Sukuna only has 2 of his 20 fingers. So he's literally at 10% power.

Props to Gojo for holding out against mahoraga and 19 finger (+1 with the corpse) The most powerful curse we've seen so far (jogo) is estimated around 7-8 fingers in terms of power and he couldnt lay a hand on sukuna the whole time. Also he was considered a special grade even when he had 2 fingers which is insane to me. I think everyone under values how strong sukuna truly is

Just to make it simple. Gojo is the most gifted and a thousand times stronger than EVERYONE ELSE. That’s why he has a God complex and barely takes anyone seriously.. But SUKUNA is a thousand times stronger than Gojo.. and Sukuna is not even at his “full power” yet. Sukuna is a God and the creator of all curses. Each of his fingers can destroy the world, or make anyone a special grade curse. If Sukuna collects all his fingers and becomes WHOLE again, that’d be it. GG
