I never play ranked in any game. But I've played one round of TA and will probably never play another.

Honestly, I think they should just have 3 separate ladders for a ranked version of each mode. I know I can't be alone in the desire for ranked power shift

although i liked terminal attack when it was an LTM, i have not yet played it since the release of S3. It's already "risky" playing a PvP given it's much more likely to get infuriated at nonsense, i'm not gonna boost that probability by playing a high stakes mode with and against randoms or god forbid do something as insane as try ranked mode in a game i view as one of the chillest PvP shooters released in the past decade. The finals may have a competitive lore and setting, but playing it competitively is the worst thing you can do for your mental health, that's not to mean it's a bad competitive game, it's just a way of saying to no longer take multiplayer shooters seriously, they've been thoroughly ruined and have been so for a long time.

Good video. I think Terminal attack is fine but I find it easier to find two other people to play with rather than 4 for TA

I love terminal attack; it removes so many of the elements I hated, but most importantly, how many times did you play a match perfectly only to have a lousy team die and respawn right after you wiped a team, jack your cash out, and lose? I solo qued to plat 1 for season one. I quit a month before season 1 ended and returned two weeks ago. I'm hooked.

straight up did quit playing because s3 is kinda dogshit. If embark wanted more money, Ranked TA was not the correct move, player counts are peaking lower than in s2

The thing that I was thinking is that they rushed about TA for adding it as ranked gamenode There are several things that still need to be changed to make TA better Like Heavy being 100 HP well that's bullshit make the heavy ass guy regenerate back to 250 instead of 100 For medium make it to 200 In that case, a bunch of sniper won't be a total pain in ass or disabling a port of map completely so that a bunch of pesky camper doesn't ruin the game or run away to that parts of the map like a little bitch they are As I said, there are several bullcrap that I can that might change the gamemode for good.

Honestly, the mode itself is okay-ish imo. I think what caused the problem the most is that it feels like they were sort of rushing their ass off making TA. There should’ve been some dedicated maps for TA only, maybe some different, yet careful balancing to the weapons and gadgets (so that the fucking RPG won’t 1 shot more than 2 ppl spontaneously). Like the more I play, the more it feels like the mode is not well-polished yk? They could’ve done so much better and convinced people that it’s indeed a good game mode, but they sort of lost the chance at this point i think.. at least do the patches more often and “try” to balance the game but now it just feels like the developers themselves don’t really listen to the feedbacks anymore cus there are too many crying babies

Embark said that they want to make cash out more competitive and cashout can’t be the ranked mode for the season

I think that they should just make it that if you take damage till you are super low, you should regenerate health to 2/3 of that class’s health.

I haven't seen any ACTUAL confirmation for it, but i can almost guarantee you, ranked TA and the "play 5 matches of TA" paywall, is 100% on Nexon. Embark have been VERY receptive to the community. So the fact that they've said next to nothing about ranked cashout, just confirms it for me. Please don't blame Embark. It's nexon's money-hungry thinking.

I’m not really sure why, but the world tour experience was never good for me this season, 2/3 times a teammate would just leave and never come back, and the rest 1/3 times, the entire lobby just feels unbalanced with completely new players mixed with experienced ones

i LOVE this mode so much, the feel of the game is very distinctly different from something like csgo or r6, it plays faster, movement is better, and the game is just nicer, and I love snd gamemodes, i really hope ranked TA stays.

Its definitely Nexon. It has to be. This is robs life work. He probably had the cashout mode as the vision for the game. So yeah. Maybe both will be ranked. Otherwise, world tour it is. I love this game too much

Cash out is too random for ranked. Ta is perfect for the finals and makes winning or losing less random and more skill based cash out is fun but doesn't feel very rewarding when you lose to the team that only third partys at the last 5 seconds of the cash out

Great quality video, but "You're not gonna quit playing, I know this, you know this..." idk about that one, bold statement. I recently moved on from the game personally, and I'm seeing a lot of people follow suit. I had like 700+ hours in it in total so definitely want the game to do well, but WT and it's non-existent long-term progression couldn't carry my attention indefinitely. TA on the other hand, I just don't think it has enough for me to choose it over games like CS that perfected the formula.

while its my favorite mode and ill be sad when it leaves ranked, i really hope that they keep terminal as a permanent mode for casuals afterwards

bro I like your take on it I've been saying their focus should be cash out but they should have a extra ranked game mode (kinda like RL) of TA and maybe Powershift and they could keep world tour in some way or some sort I kinda hope they dont take world tour out next season it's fun.

Instead of team death match in our fun chaos shooter we get fake counter strike with reduced chaos. They want this to be that clip game like call of duty byt also want it ultra tactical somehow like counter strike? This game just needs to embrace chaos remove SBMM and add a team death match and free for all it will instantly get more success.

I hate the fact that you spend all this time doing two seasons of ranked, to then get fingered with TA. I think their problem is the fact that they change the game TOO much. The consistency of other big games is good, thats why updates take so long to come out with big games, its because big changes ruin the game. I want to play light and not have to worry about the fact that they will destroy it a month later. I want to play the same light as I did in season 1, but they keep nerfing everything.

Terminal attack is ok…. For sure not a game mode id play ranked….They limit the gadgets you can use. They should have a revive system like cyber attack from cod. If I wanted to play search and destroy I’d play cod, Csgo, or siege. TA feels like off brand search and destroy not like a staple for the game.. that being said all the other game modes are way more fun than terminal attack. It just terminal attack should not be ranked it should be LTMrs

You gotta understand that quick cash can not ever be truly competitive when the overall meta is 3rd partying, it became very clear why quick cash shouldn't be the ranked game mode during twitch rivals

If this gamemode is the future i gonna leave. They created a game which cant be compared to any other game yet they copy the gamemode from other popular ranked shooter games. It doesnt work. It isnt strategic att all. its random and boring. Id love to see a gamemode like rush in battlefield.
