3 жыл бұрынThe Vantage is the entry into the Family of Aston Martin vehicles. Under the hood is an AMG derived 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that pumps out 503HP & mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. The exterior of the Vantage has the classic grill shape opening, 20in forged wheels, carbon ceramic rotors, and covered in Lime Essence. On the inside you will be surrounded by Alcantara, perfectly wrapped steering wheel, and some of the best seats in the bussiness. Is the 2020 Aston Martin Vantage ALMOST the perfect sports car?

You NEED to drive the previous generation Vantage with the V12 and the stick! If you really want a smile on that face! Trust me, I worked for Aston Martin in Beverly Hills for 5 years.

I've test driven this car and boy what a joy it was to drive her. Great engine and exhaust track, nimble and stunning to look at. Definitely a very good choice for an Everyday sports car

Dont EVER zip it when you get " on throttle" thats the highlight of the video for me in these crazy performance vehicles. It lets me know that theyre genuinely fun vehicles to drive. Keep sweating and keep smiling :D

The only issue with this car is the amount of COMPETITON! We have the Mercedes AMG-GT, Ferrari Portofino, Acura NSX, Maserati Granturismo, Porsche 911, BMW M8 Competition, McLaren 570s, the new Ferrari Roma, possibly a C8 Corvette, I mean it is just crazy... The list goes on!

Out of those, I'd probably definitely take the 911, the 570S, the Roma, and the NSX, the C8 and AMG GT are definitely maybes compared to this. For one the performance and driving experience is better and or on par ..and they feature a DCT which is better than the TC in this and the transmission is an important part of the experience on cars like these. If it's the manual version however, it's not the best manual out there but it's still pretty solid so that'd probably the one to push.

I had the opportunity to borrow a friend's 2020 Vantage (in silver) for 2 days. It's a superb ride. I found myself driving around saying "Bond . . . James Bond" with a big stupid grin on my face LOL..

Wow talk about the perfect color. 😍 I had a Spring Green iM which was very similar...but this is just absolutely stunning. Great review too. I agree with you that they should’ve done some Lime Essence contrast stitching. Such a missed opportunity!

What a beautiful car. Wow. And I liked when that tractor pulled off the road to let you get by him. Always nice to see considerate drivers out there. Have you considered doing series of Raiti's Rides "Top 10 Super Cars" (or SUVs, Trucks, etc.) videos? You get to drive so many incredible cars and it'd be interesting to see how you personally rank them. For example, where does the Aston Martin Vantage stack up against the other super cars you've driven? Just a thought. Keep up the great content!

Cool new video as always! As nice as this sports car might be the best seller is going to be the new Aston Martin SUV for the brand. Yes the SUV is late to the party and has lots of Mercedes Benz AMG parts but the Aston Martin brand is all about standing out. Will you review that new Aston Martin SUV?

Yeah they go broke sadly. This latest pandemic will likely see the end of a few exotic brands that were already struggling. I hope Aston is not one of them but it's not looking good.

Pretty loud color for an Austin!😎 I think I saw a Camaro in that color. Hey just listened to your Interview on the Mecum pod cast , really cool. Love Mecum , also if you haven’t you should check out Barrett Jackson Scottsdale in January. So many cars! I like to go on preview day takes all day to see them all. Every thing from entry level drivers to high end.

You’re right. I got mine for Christmas. It’s metallic white, interior is metallic tan with navy accents, navy carpet. It is truly a blast to,drive and I couldn’t resist the vanity plate....00VII...Arizona!

I like the interior simplicity. Aston often gets judged from lack of innovation but nothing wrong with a clean, timeless design

You can't lose with that lime essence color it'll look good during a sunny day and just as good at night there's no trade off as to how it looks no matter where or when rain shine day or night that color is gonna pop and be noticed👍👌

Aston Martin has been my favorite maker since I was knee high to a grass hopper. The previous gen Vantage will never be surpassed when it comes to design/beauty/appeal but this is such a good looking car. Would love to see you get your hands on their new dog leg manual and hear your opinion on it. Edit: Just saw you mention the manual. If I’m not mistaken, the manual is coming as an option, if not already, to the standard vantage.

Aston Martin has always had a place in my heart , from James Bond movies to creative concepts .. this company has always found ways to amaze me. However I do wish they would introduce better advance tech although better then before its still gives the car a outdated feel that shouldn’t be the case especially with the newer design

Good morning Joe, The Vantage starts at $150k and as you said, it is the most affordable model from Aston Martin. I like the Jaguar FType coupe also, and it’s much less money starting at about $60k the last time I checked.

Amazing car. Aston Martin may not be up there with most of the German rivals when it comes to tech, but its uniqueness definitely makes it worth the money in my eyes. May I ask whats your daily driver Joe? Are you a German car guy?

No doubt these are expensive vehicles and the options are plentiful (60 exterior color choices for example). But the styling is so unique and aesthetically pleasing. And that sound is spectacular. Note that if you take the 7 speed manual transmission option you lose about 50 lb ft of torque. Still I would go that route since the ZF is not a DCT. I don't understand how heated seats are included but ventilated seats are not? Who's driving this in cold weather, not this guy. I live in Canada basically I would only be driving this vehicle for 6 months from May to October. Great review as usual Joe thank you.
