My favorite car in the market right now. Hyundai/Kia making good strides and hope it continues

Just picked up a 2020 Stinger GT AWD yesterday. On my way home from the dealership, I couldn’t stop smiling. Bolster seats are amazing and hug your body, comfort is out this world! Car is a beast!!

Have a 19 GT1. I find myself going into the garage and just staring at it.. love it

Got a GT2 in 2018 and I still love it. I've got to be on the road a lot and the Stinger makes the trips so easy and comfortable.

It can't be understated how far Kia has come. As a teen in the 90's I remember Sephias being on par with Geo Metros. Now I see things like the Stinger, the Telluride, and, being in the market for a CUV, being excited for the upcoming Seltos; good on you, Kia.

I loved test driving it so much I picked up the GTII AWD - No Regrets. I get a lot of compliments and curiosity about this car wherever I go. Super fun vehicle on short or long trips. Great job Kia and as always, awesome review Raiti

got the 2020 gt1. fun car, no matter what other people comment about the badge. did a 1am drive going home, barely cars around. the stinger did most of the driving with its adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. it was around 1.5 hr drive and i was not tired when i got home. also, with the dealers, my experience was better. and i got the price down to USD 40k. maybe if buyers are actually nice, and you got a nice sales person, you can get a good deal too.

Not gonna lie literally every other car you tuber uploads weekly, you work your ass off to ensure that you make tons of content that people can actually use when choosing between cars and upload daily

I just got the 2021 Stinger GT in white with red interior (my dream combo). My god it looks so good in person. Such a joy to drive! Always wanted this kind of performance money wise. Totally in love with it.

massive bang for the buck. got my 2019 base GT w/twin turbo for $31k. $31!! I get compliments wherever I go. rock solid. great warranty too.

I've had the ceramic silver / red interior GT2 since 2018 and have 22k miles on it. Only issue was warped rotors are 10k but Kia replaced all rotors, calipers and pads and have not had any issues since. It's my daily driver and after an exhaust update and intakes I think it's one of the best cars on the market for under $60k.

My wife is on her second kia. we love them. Only thing in her current kia was a blower fan and a resister fixed under warranty. 96,473 miles . People must get past the name and how they were the first few years in the USA just like Toyota and Honda and Nissan still is. Nice review. I drove one as a rental last year and loved it.

Great review. I own a 2018 Stinger GT AWD. Love it. It’s been a great car and I never get tired of driving it. Just a heads up, the 8 spd trans is NOT the ZF. It’s an in house Kia transmission. Oh, I added the Borla exhaust and car sounds amazing now.

I'm in UK and have a Burnt Ember orange Stinger gt. It is definitely a head turner. I've had it for 6 months now and I just love driving it.

I have had my Stinger GT for 2 years and other then having to replace the rotors a couple of times, it's a great ride.

I actually love the long reflector: it makes the car more unique. Very good video by the way. I own a Stinger and still keep watching videos about this car.

You got me. I had an extended test drive of one last Friday. So impressed I intend ordering one this Monday. I won't trade my Kia Sportage which I love, but the wife's Mazda 3 Gt 2.5 will be the one to go. She agrees and although just a passanger during the test drive, she is suitably impressed to the point of no argument. I've owned everything from a genuine 1969 L88 Corvette to BMWs, Mercs etc. And thought that my motoring enthusiast days were over and nothing could ever ring my bell again. How wrong was I. What an impressive well-rounded motorcar.

Let's see how it sounds: Vrooommmmm... Definitely needs a Bola exhaust. I test drove once a Limited one. The Harmon Kardon system is worth the whole car. That stereo system makes every song sound good.

I loved it so much, I bought (2) white and red! Best vehicle in everyway I've ever owned. And the (15) speaker Harman Karmon with (2) floor subs, is crazy sound!!!

Much as I love my V8s, a Kia Stinger GT is very capable, and is a LOT of car for the money.

FYI, it is not a ZF 8speed transmission. It is an in-house transmission by Kia.

I bought a 2019 GT2 Ceramic Silver! Holy Crap my heart starts pumping faster each time I start to get in! This is an amazing machine! I’ve had a lot of cars over my last 34 years driving, but not one has ever made my heart rate go up like my Stinger! It’s a bad ass car!

Tbh, I have a 2017 Accord V6 Touring. I got a Honda for its reliability. But over these last few years I’ve heard some great things about KIA especially this Stinger. The accord transmission does not have fast shifts, it sometimes shifts rough. I’m really tempted to make the switch give KIA a try. I test drove one and it felt really like a luxury sedan comparable to a Mercedes, bmw, Lexus. Great car

i would buy this car in a heartbeat. it is the car i wanted for a couple years now. better keep fingers crossed for that lotto win. it's just an instant eye catch, and all round winner for everything you want and need.

Fantastic car, Joe! I love it. I have two main issues with it, though. 1) That hideous reflector on the side rear. 2) That horrendous afterthought infotainment screen. Despite those two caveats, I could totally see myself driving one of these eventually. Not bad, Kia!

Owner of a 2018 GT1 in ceramic grey. I've never gotten so many compliments from random people at the parking lot, gas station, at my business. I was an Audi guy before having an A5 and S4, but the Stinger is my favorite by a huge margin. German luxury are money pits (transmission and oil consumption issues). Having a peace of mind with the reliability of a Korean made car is really priceless. I hope Kia makes a second generation but if not, then definitely G70 will be on my list. Hopefully by then Genesis will have a high performance trim with the G70 going head to head with M and AMG.

Bought a 2020 Stinger GT today. Very happy with my purchase.

I own one in Ceramic Silver, AWD, and the red interior. Love the driver side thigh extension. People literally walk over and ask me what the car is, because there aren’t a lot on the road. Agreed, wish they never included those fake hood vents. Also, totally agree about the roof. Should have blacked it all out and pano. Changed the logos to the Korean market KIA E. Lastly, KIA has filed documents to change their logo...at last.:)

Bought one of these in black a few month's ago and must say most beautiful car I have ever driven or driven in. Still today I get excited when I need to run out for milk! lol Great review mate.

Do you think you could do more 6 cyl performance/luxury cars? I know it is tough because everyone is switching to 4 cyl turbos🙄. That would be so appreciated as I LOVE 6’s and honesty am not a fan of 4’s. Heck, I have a 5 cyl which is like a black sheep in today’s market!

We should not forget that the design of the Stinger was developed by Peter Schreyer and Gregory Guillaume in Frankfurt am Main. Albert Biermann, who was deputy head of development at BMW M GmbH, was also involved in the development; since 2015 he has been head of development at the Hyundai Motor Group, to which Kia belongs.

This 2020 GT seems like it has all of the same features of my 2019 GT2. What sets the GT2 apart from the GT for the 2020MY?

My GT2 AWD in black hides alot of those "zonks" but it drives and feels better than it looks. Plus, you can buy one for a lot cheaper than msrp.

I think Kia moved the stinger logo to where the Kia logo is on the back or at least what I'm seeing on cars at dealerships where I live. I'd definitely put a Borla exhaust on that thing. Also the base and premium are now GT-Line starting with this year's models.

This isn’t a 2020. All 2020s have the stinger emblem in the middle of the rear bumper instead of the Kia logo. Edit: Sorry I am obsessed with this car lol

I always been a honda person, my first one was 1988 Honda accord. I remeber Hyundai at that time was butt of everyone joke in the car industry. I just drove a new Kia, and "Oh Man", they have come a long long way. Great job Kia.
