For 2021, the Mercedes Benz A220 is almost entirely unchanged except for a few new standard items: blind spot monitoring and a 64-color ambient light palette in the MBUX system are now standard on all A’s. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rain sensing wipers, LED lights and a pano sunroof were already standard. The A-Class debuted in America just a few years ago, and as the brand’s entry level model, it is the perfect bite-size Benz for a younger crowd with less Benjamin’s in the bank. Now don’t let that entry level moniker fool you...there’s nothing cheap about this car. Massive dual 10.25” screens flank the dash, glossy black trim and chrome accents adorn the interior, creating a Mercedes worthy cockpit that will impress even the harshest of critics. Power still comes from the sole engine option, a 188hp turbo 4cylinder with 215lb ft. of torque & a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. This car is SMALL, though, and its cramped quarters may turn off some buyers (wait ‘til you see the trunk!!). But with a starting price of just over $34,000...there isn’t much to criticize. What do you think?
