You know you’ve made it when Rolls Royce sends you an orange Cullinan as a press car. That’s a treat because most people don’t get that sent to them. I though the color was custom from an owner because brands usually don’t do a bright orange like this.

The Rolls Royce founders heard the zonk and sent a thunderous warning. Awesome to see a vehicle like this up close. Not anything I'll ever be able to own, but window shopping never hurts.

Stunning color. I don’t see the comparison to an Escalade though, totally different suv / market. Would like to see you compare this to something in its class like the Bentley Bentayga.

The real direct competitor to this is the Bentley Bentayga, and I prefer it to the Cullinan. The Rolls just feels *too* isolated from everything. I suppose if I were sitting in the back, the Rolls would be my pick.

That color looks incredible! The one thing I love about these Rolls Royces in particular is when you're driving, the RR logo on the center caps stay upright. Not only that, but these Rolls Royces are tremendously quiet when you're driving!

To be fair you can't compare a Cadillac to a Rolls-Royce, it's a miss match You could at least bring Bentley Bentaga or Mercedes Maybach Gls into the conversation. But when it comes to luxury nothing comes close to Rolls-Royce.

Not really easy to compare the two. The RR is obviously going to be more luxurious and while I have no direct experience with this vehicle, every other RR I've ever been in has a smoothness to the ride that cannot be matched by any other brand. That said, it doesn't have the tow capacity, the cargo space, and most likely the offroad ability of the Escalade. The 4WD is really good on the Cadillac, good enough that lifted Escalades have a reputation for their abilities. This is really a matter of your priorities. If towing, hauling anything or having to deal with rough road conditions are a concern, I don't see the RR standing up. If you want the smoothest ride possible and maximum luxury, as good as the Escalade is the RR is going to be better.

I'd rather have the silver RR Ghost that Joe reviewed in Texas last year, than either this Cullinen or Escalade V. But that's me, I like cars over trucks.

I like how the tailgate comes down so you can put some sheets of plywood or drywall in there if you need to.

A few weeks ago I saw a Rolls exactly like this one (Orange) on the 118fwy in L.A.s San Fernando valley, and last week I saw a white one in the Sherman Oaks area 405 fwy.

Love this video -- since this is the first video that I have seen of a high-end luxury car maker! That being said, not a fan at all of the color (yuck) it just doesn't fit the prestige of the model/make in my opinion -- but you know what they say about opinions -- everyone has one!! LOL I am SO not a fan of bright colors on any car! I love looking at high-end luxury, but honestly it seems a bit much -- seems too big and too much of a gas guzzler! And then hearing what the call the rear doors -- nope! LOL I guess the Cadillac is a gas guzzler too though -- so there you go!! LMAO!! Great video Joe and Lori!!

If I had the money to get any luxury SUV, my first option is the Cullinan, Maybach GLS, Range Rover , and Bentayga in that order.

I’ll own a rolls Royce cullinan one day I vision myself owning one every night before I got to sleep what a beautiful car 😍

Went bodyboarding last year in Corpus Christi and there was a young surfer there in a Cullinan. It was mild metallic gray but you'd think the surfer dude with the apparent oil industry bucks would go for a bright color. I'd go for a wrap and go full surf-adventure with the graphics. My only gripe is I don't like the knob transmission control. I like a stick of some sort or push button. Probably go for the Escalade just for the bang for the buck factor.

More vehicles need that trunk feature...all the time groceries rollin out my trunk...I usually put a bungie around the bags now to prevent that

You have to respect Rolls Royce and what it brings, no doubt. If you’ve got the $ you get a Rolls. But I’m sorry just because you have the $ doesn’t mean you have sense when it comes to vehicles. The Cullinan IMO is non sense. I’d take the Escalade v for sure but I’d go for a top Range Rover over this any day. With that thanks for the review. You guys still bring the best!! Don’t stop!!

Great stuff Joe! The color is way off for a Roller. Sad thing is that most people that own them never drive them much. They are so mileage sensitive in terms of depreciation. Thanks for bringing it to us.
