Is the 2023 Kia Sorento Plug-in a BETTER midsize SUV than a Toyota Highlander?

The Sorento is a 3-row SUV from Kia. On the outside you will discover full LED lighting, gloss black trim panoramic roof. On the inside there is a large infotainment system, digital gauge cluster and tons of passenger space. Under the hood is a 1.6L turbocharged inline-4 paired to an electric motor & is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Joe Raitti, what do you recommend between the 2024 Kia Sorento SX Prestige & the 2024 Honda CRV Sport Touring? I love the Kia because it has all the bells & whistles. Wished the Honda had ventilated seats, panoramic moon roof & a 360° Camara. Joe let me know which one is when it comes to durability?

I have a 2019 Sorento LX V6 I love it. I was a little upset cause the Telluride came out a few months later. But, I hear your not suppose to get the 1st version of a new car. Give it time to work all the kinks out.

The title has “Plug-in”. At 6:10 in the videos, it shows the “HEV” (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) not PHEV ( Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle). Does the video title need to be corrected?

I cant wait for the 2024 Kia Sorento refresh! Already released in Korea. Current one is amazing. But the refresh will blow the competition out of the park for sure! The new lighting headlights on the refresh model reminds me of the Cadillac Escalade or EV9.

I haven owned it for 25k km. Multiple long trip over 1000 km including, fuel economy is 52 mpg combined, inclusive of price of charging.

The flat black is a zonk it doesn't work it needs to be body colored and I do like the updated Kia logo. The piano gloss black not a fan of it. Is Kia going to keep making more Sorento’s and will there be a refresh 2024 Kia Sorento coming out?

The regular Highlander doesn’t have a plug in hybrid just a regular hybrid but I think to increase sales they can make a prime version. Many people out there are looking to save on gas

The tail lights continue to be awkward. The two vertical lights either need to be identical shaped ( and read that way from multiple angles) or be more different proportionately from each other. Right now they appear sloppy and janky

Quite a nice vehicle. But compared to the Highlander? I'd go Highlander mid trim, if I'm plunkin' my dough down. But this Hyundai/Kia is quite impressive, more than those angular lined side slabs we've been seeing. Nice design, Kia!
