The Traverse is redesigned and Chevy has made big changes. On the outside of the LS which is the base trim you will notice LED headlights, 18in alloy wheels and quad-tip exhaust. On the inside you will be welcomed by a 17in infotainment screen, 11in digital gauge cluster and cloth seating. Under the hood is a 2.5L turbocharged inline-4 that produces 328HP. i bought the 2018 traverse LT new.........and man i am all in for this redesign with new engine options! traverse beat everyone in bang for the buck........biggest selling point for traverse is space and price......nothing beats traverse!....side note: i have driven traverse for more than 200k KM.....not a single issue except regular maintenance! great quality statement for an American suv!

I don’t understand how you’re gloating about $38,000 being such a good price. I just got a 2024 pathfinder for 1000 more, and not only does it have a sunroof, but it has a full panoramic sunroof. It has automatic seats for driver and passenger. It has captains chairs in the second row. It has an automatic liftgate, and it just seems like way better than this, not to mention it has a V6, and still gets about the same mileage as this one does.

With discounts back on the GM lot, if one is able to walk out with this Traverse for under $40k USD out-the-door is a great deal in 2024. The new turbo 4-banger makes some healthy numbers and looks promising.

Looks really sharp. I just purchased a car yesterday. Nice little chess match with the dealer. But in the end I got every little fee down to paint protection removed. Also remember don't accept no from anyone who can't tell you yes. I did share a few more tips on my channel M. But anyway this Traverse looks really sweet. Congrats if you buy it!

I sprang for the upgraded Lyft late last year, and the driver showed up in a Traverse. Granted, it was the previous gen, but a huge zonk was the ride in the back seats. I've been down that highway to the airport a million times in my Mustang and my BMW, but I never noticed those freeway joints before. "Thu thump! Thu thump! Thu thump!"

Ray, I hate to break it to you, but, having a 2023 High country, the v6 growl is sweet and smooth. This turbo 4 is a step backwards in refinement, perhaps a step forward in power and economy, but, man oh man, the V6 is sweet... Also, the 9 speed in the 2023 seems to be quicker in shifts.

This is the first non hybrid that finally makes sense to me, great price, good tech, good power, actually improved mpg unlike others in the class(most still have around 15-18 city 24-26 hgwy) this is 20 city and 28 hwy. If it had a standard hybrid option I think it would have killed the market. I still think this will do good!

I do wonder how these big heavy station wagons will hold up with the turbo 4 powerplants. Can someone put 10K miles a year on this for 10 years without major issues? If so, then i would call it a wise investment. Interior is very nice. The exhaust appearance is a plus. Keep chewing that big league joe. Keeps the jaw strong. ☮️💙👍

This 2024 Chevy Traverse LS is a great bang for the buck SUV and it looks very nice and gets good mpg's for its size, its actually about the same price as the 2 row base Chevy Blazer plus you get some upgrades you don't normally expect for a base trim. Pretty close to a full size SUV that can haul the whole family+ Luggage, Edmunds rates this vehicle a 5 out of 5 !

12:49 are those actual shifter paddles, or are they the radio paddles? I know GM does the radio paddles back there instead of giving you shifter paddles. It would be a nice change if they did shifter paddles instead of radio paddles.

Raiti you have the best Pov Driving Perspective in the game 🏆 That 2024 Chevy Traverse literally had no jittery angles what so ever. The trajectory of the engine and transmission was seamless and quiet wow Gm!..........also I seen that old 2 door Ford F-150 about to cook that Traverse lol...But honestly as a Ford fan I love GMC and all their models just as much now 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Thanks for reviewing the LS trim model. Overall it's a nice update, with tons of features, especially for the price. However, there are some drawbacks. The 4-Cyl turbo engine is way too rough sounding, with not much better mileage than the previous V6. The third row passengers can't look out the window!! What's up with that? Infontainment is nice but would love a bigger clock so rear passengers can see it too. No fog lights?

Honestly, the only disadvantage I can see with this trim is that you can’t get the panoramic sunroof. You need to upgrade to the LT to get that.

It's a nice base model truck at a good price. But you have to sacrifice a lot. I like big rims, name brand speakers, leather seats, moonroof and all the bells and whistles, which this truck does not have. The 360 cameras and duel exhaust are awesome tho! The design is great too. Can't Bea the price.

Excellent review and POV drive. Joe your right about the piano black,hold on to the microfiber cloth😅😅 This LS offers a ton of value,i would definitely purchase one. Chevrolet is bringing out a new Equinox. They dropped the LS for 2025,big mistake 😮

Yes it has more power that pilot highlander palisade but it’s is a full second slower than all those vehicles. Instead of being a sub 6 second vehicle which is what it should be this thing does 0-60 in 7.8 seconds which is slower than the v6
