The Velar gets some updates and changes from Range Rover for 2024. On the outside you will find a new grill, headlights, wheels and rear bumper. On the inside there is a new infotainment and a passenger space without physical buttons and knobs. Under the hood is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 putting out 247HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2024 Range Rover Velar a BETTER midsize luxury SUV than a Genesis GV80?

Joe I love the new wheel and caliper not sure about the black lower line but they finally got the rear wiper right still not sure I’d go back with another Range Rover or not Simple because of the gas consumption but if I were going to buy another one od definitely purchase the Defender madel Great job Stephen and Joe another great video as usual

I had a 2020 velar when it first came out. It was huge head turner in candy red. But I can’t state enough.. THIS CAR IS SLOW.

I have the 2021 Velar and this is one of the reasons I hate it. It is too heavy for the amount of horse power. I have been counting down the months until the lease is over.

I do love the vehicle; my concern with Range Rover is the things that they have issues with are things that they just can't seem to get right. ie infotainment system, interior quality, maintenance. These issues give me pause.

Are you test driving a Velar or the Defender ? When you had hood up, you said in-line four turbo charge. The test drive you said a V-8.

Warranty or no, everyone I've ever known who has owned a RR says 'never again.' Despite the comp loaners, their cars have just been in the shop more time than they're worth unfortunately.

The inline 6 with turbo at 395 hp is solid. Tops her out in the 70k range. IF you want a V8 you are getting the Range Rover Sport, not the Velar. The Sports are over $100k. Big difference for 130 more HP.
