Throughout 2021 we were able to use and abuse the BlackOvis Anchor Point Jacket! It's safe to say this is my favorite puffy jacket for hunting!!

I purchased one after your last review. Well worth the money, and like the fact that it stuffs into the pocket. I wore it to work and did tear a small hole in the sleeve, but was able to patch it. Makes a nice layer when it's cold. Thanks for the review. Looking forward to the spring bear hunt.

I appreciate the information, although the coldest areas I hunt gets down to maybe 30° F , it's always nice to know that if I win that Grand Prize hunt that Switchback Outdoors gives away, I'll be outfitted for the cold there...lol Love what you're doing ❤️

How waterproof is it?

@@wyomins it’s a light weight down puffy that’s not meant to be waterproof. If it’s going to rain or snow I use this in my layering system under a rain jacket or soft shell jacket

I really like the jacket and pants. The jacket is a bit different size than their other tops but it's manageable.

@Rockie Reuter I normally wear a 2xl in most every company for shirts and tops. But the 2xl was too tight. And the 3xl looks like I could use it as a emergency shelter. I wear a 2xl in the firstlite uncomphagre for reference

I can tell you I looked really hard at the FirstLite Brooks Down Sweater and ended up buying this puffer instead. I saw a few negative reviews of the Brooks about poor quality, little to no feathers and the worst was the poor customer service. None of that on the Anchorpoint and I saved a $100. If it measures up I'll add the pants.

@@SwitchbackOutdoorstv arrived Tue, 4 days from West Valley to Salmon Idaho. Too hot to wear it yet, but so far I'm impressed
