Is the ECTO-1 BETTER than the BATMOBILE? LEGO Creator Expert Ghostbusters review Set 10274

My LEGO Ghostbuster's Ecto-1 arrived!!! So what do I think of this new 2020 LEGO large set for the upcoming Ghostbusters Afterlife movie coming out in 2021? Am I pleased I purchased it? And how does this Ghostbuster's Ecto 1 set compare to the 1989 DC Batman Batmobile set we got previously? Both are iconic vehicles from amazing 1980s movies - did Lego do as good a job with the Ecto-1 as they did for the Batmobile?

Great review! The designer Mike Psiaki did an amazing job! He also designed the DB5, the Mustang, the Beetle among many other sets.

This is a really cool set. Even if someone was to convert it into a stock hearse/ambulance would even be cool as well. Great vid.

A truly amazing set. I managed to purchase one last night as a back order but I’m in no rush to build it at the moment 😂. Great stream the other night by the way 👍

I started building this last night, I start work at 6am so I'll finish it tonight. Loving the build so far though. Not putting rust on mine either. My Ecto 1 cost £100 less than yours brand new.

I have just purchased the Lego DB5 with both the Ecto1 and 1989 batmobile last weekend. The Aston is fantastic especially the ejector seat. I'm off work next week and was going to build both the Ecto1 and the batmobile but the UCS millennium falcon is sat under my table waiting to be built, so I might do the falcon first and wait a couple of weekends to do these two.

It’s a truly superb set and even better seeing it built and seeing all what it does and the incredible detailing. It’s not on my list, but it’s extremely desirable ! 😍

Michelle E completely agree! Great looking display but if you’re not into ghostbusters it’s a set that can be admired with out a purchase :)

Some white lithium grease helps as well. Or silicone spray if you're worried about it attracting dust/hair

The Lego Brick yeah! Not a fan of the set to be honest but I love the mando figure and his speeder so it’s a day one purchase for me!

3:55 you actually don't have to open the door all the way for that gunner seat to eject like that, I've seen on many channels they just press the button and the door and the seat just ejects out perfectly, just thought you might want to know :)

It’s a great set! Just built it. Only complaint is why did they leave studs on the rear lower wing? I’ve put flat white plates to cover these and it looks awesome. I’d post a pic but you can’t on here.

The only mistake was giving a set like this stickers. Then again, they gave Diagon Alley stickers and a ton of them too. But other than that this set is amazing! Already have two large sets on my wanted list but I think this one will be going on there too. As well as the Batwing.

The movie is not even release and lego release the ecto-1,but it took 30+ years to release creator expert smaller version of ecto 1 and the hq

Ha just finished this great set this evening after getting it delivered this morning, it really is a fantastic model to build with some very clever building techniques and mechanisms, however I had to change two minor details not because they were wrong but because they annoyed the hell out of me. No 1- both wing mirrors had to be symmetrical! No 2- changed the two 2x1 clips at base of ladder to one 2x1 clip and added a 1x1 black brick to either side to fill the gap. Sorted! Great vid by the way.

My Ecto-1 instructions manual pages started to come apart from the spine while building it halfway. Really pissed off about the quality for the pages to come apart like that.
