You could perhaps make the argument too that even without gov/fed intervention and in a free market cryptos prices would deflate a lot naturally. I mean, if people were to start using them as currency for exchange instead of hoarding them the price will deflate to natural levels, i.e., what is the natural ratio in a free market of 1 ETH to 1 car, 1 coffee, 1 day's work. In other words, right now the velocity of cryptos to real goods is so small that the prices are highly inflated. I'm not saying cryptos are worthless/bad/not good investments though. Just a thought experiment.

Nice to hear you flesh out your thesis but some of us have already worked all this out and planned accordingly. Most can't as they bring too much emotion to things. I just buy passports to low or no tax countries and move about as I like and keep tax residency in a no tax country. Live work and invest in different places. Fun life.
