The 1.4 lm definitely has punchier contrast which in my opinion is nicer to have since I can always apply a film sim to give it a more less contrasty look

Hi Josh! I can see your point, personally I think I like them both more or less at the same level. I guess it depends on how I feel on a particular day when I'm shooting. Sometimes I don't want to carry with me a bigger setup and I like just snapping shots with the x100F, other times I want to get certain results especially in low light and the 23mm F1.4 makes more sense. But at the end of the day I love them both. I was about to sell the 23mm though... mostly for financial reasons. What is your setup? 😉
