Review | The Infiniti G35 is a staple of the 2000's tuner car scene. With the VQ35 engine pushing out almost 300 horsepower, RWD, and an optional 6 speed manual transmission, the G35 was an affordable luxury sports car.
There are an abundance of aftermarket parts available for these cars. Nearly every G35 you see has been modified in some shape or form. From cheap exhaust kits to twin turbo horsepower monsters, the VQ35 took well to modifications.
The car we're reviewing today, however, is not a horsepower monster. It's an increasingly rare, fully stock 2007 Infiniti G35 coupe. It's equipped with an automatic transmission, rather than a manual. While this isn't what we'd usually pick, the vehicle did have a "luxury car' feel to it. The g35's specs are respectable, let's see how it stands up to the test of time.
Thanks for watching! Make sure to subscribe to The Left Pedal for more cool car stuff every week!

@T Free Parts are super cheap and readily available, the car is super reliable but there are some things to look out for just make sure you google the year you are looking at to look for common problems if you do the work yourself its super cheap to maintain (the car is relatively easy to work on especially compared to modern cars) but if you are paying a shop there are some "common" issues that they will try and rip you off on ex timing chain tensioner

I found with my 06 G coupe that if you let the car warm up properly which means you allow the rpms to drop to around 700 before driving the car goes into gear smoothly. My car currently has around 84k miles and is running strong. Would you say its worth it for a starter car?
@JoshD4PREZ
@JoshD4PREZ 3 жыл бұрын
@@user-ct1ef4jz9x yes and no, it’s not the fastest car in the world but for a new driver it’s a lot of car to handle, especially the 6 speed coupe. A press of a button (VDC OFF) will turn off traction control allowing you to get sideways or light up the rear tires like nothing. I’ve always drove manual transmission cars, but as my first rear wheel drive car, I bought it with the clutch going out and I’m glad I did cuz I prolly would have wrecked it lol. After around 6 months getting acclimated to RWD, I put a brand new clutch & flywheel in and now the thing is ridiculously fun on dry or wet pavement, drift for miles in the snow, hugs corners like nothing I’ve felt before. All in all, if the maintenance and repairs are kept up with and done right, it’s one hell of a reliable car for a 3500LB 280HP RWD luxury coupe. I’m not saying they’re all as reliable, but I’ve went out of the way to make sure this one was, and she hasn’t let me sit yet @150,000 miles

@paulrosemond1442
@paulrosemond1442 3 жыл бұрын
@@ramiahwhitney9 there are videos about that. Pull the sending units from the tank and clean the fine lines that the float arm touches, then reinstall. If that doesn’t correct it, there are cold solder joints (I think 8) on the back of fuel gauge on the cluster that should be touched up (re-flowed) that should correct the issue.
