@@isaaclepan it's built for a specific mission, low slow flight dropping more munitions than anything other than a full size bomber, engaging target's in close proximity to allied ground troops. And enough armor and durability to get the pilot home even if the plane looks like swiss cheese with only one wing, one functional engine and half a tail section. No other aircraft does that job as good or better than the A-10 Thunderbolt II

A brace of pistols is an archaic term, denoting 6-8 pistols, as worn by pirates and bushwhackers. Kit and outfit are both modern terms denoting a soldier's clothing or gear. A soldier's kit is the gear they carry. A soldier's outfit is the gear and clothing they wear. Both are in reference to a single soldier. Swords are gonna be referred to by their container "a rack of swords" or "a cart of swords" or "a table of swords" or, the word for a group of weapons, is arsenal. An Arsenal of Swords would be the nonspecific term for a group of swords.

As someone who spends his days translating 1000 year old Japanese folktales, the answer is resoundingly and unequivocally yes! The best looking sword out there, and I swear I'm completely unbiased and 100000000% free of prejudice. Also, if you want a lady of the night meets martial artist, go all out and make it a lady assassin and call her Tomoe in honor of Tomoe Gozen perhaps the most well known lady warrior from the Tale of the Heike.

Couldn't tell if that's a straight Dao, or a Jian at the end there. Jian if it's double edged, a straight type Dao if single edged, most Dao styles tend to be somewhat curved, but it generally boils down to whether or not it's got an edge on both sides or just one. Either way, fun video as always. In D&D whenever players get a bog standard +1 or better sword I always try to either give it a name or have the players do so, named swords are just more fun!

That, and the comparative ease of use. Most sword enthusiast will agree that it's easier to get good edge alignment with a katana, so someone with no proper training will pick it up and be able to use it better than they would with a sword that requires more of an active effort, so they would get the impression that the katana works better.

1:49 "What is the collective nouns for swords?" Well, you there have "a long table" of swords. But that's just the means of presentation. Usually, I'd guess that you could have "an armory" of swords. Or you could denote it by what kind of group of people would have used the swords; like "an army" of swords, "a castle" of swords, or "a battalion" of swords, etc...
