On the outside of the Bronco Wildtrak you will find steel bumpers, 17in bead-lock wheels, 35in tires and stationary running boards. On the inside you will be greeted to a 12in infotainments system, special two-tone interior, and plenty of passenger room. Under the hood is a 2.7L twin-turbo V6 that produces 310HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Is the NEW 2021 Ford Bronco Wildtrak a BETTER buy than a Jeep Wrangler?

Meh... nothing about stuffing Hellcat engines in everything is impressive. Innovation is impressive and that's something they really haven't done with the Jeep in years.

@@tri3pleagent Eh, they've done improvements where they can without angering their buyers. The JL gets pretty good MPG for a body on frame SUV. Where as the Bronco surprisingly has pretty awful fuel efficiency. The 4 banger in some setups gets worse than the 2.7. Might as well spend a little bit extra for the Raptor over the Wildtrak.

@@tri3pleagent JL is a massive improvement over previous gen. They introduced a mild hybrid engine in 2018, they now have a plug in hybrid, a diesel, a big V8, all those things are reason why wrangler is popular. Huge choice when it comes to selecting one.

With the exception (and it is a meaningful exception) of the ZR2 and Bison Colorado GM has foresaken the offroad market. The AT4 and TrailBoss are really appearance packages. Even the ZR2 needs bigger tires stock.

Fact: The reason behind of having that layout on the instrument cluster is to resemble the classic style on the 1966 model. Taco at the lower left and square plastic cover at the front.

Jim and Lori's videos are always the best. Very thorough and honest reviews. Adds in humor with the twinkie and skittle capacity stats, and love how the reviews include a performance driving portion, although would have liked to hear comments about how much body roll there was while cornering. Never heard anyone mention this, but the Bronco kinds of looks like the retro Toyota FJ Cruiser of a few years back. I'm definitely considering one, but will wait until the quality issues are sorted.

I would spec mine out just like in this video. That ruby red is gorgeous. I know people have been dying to get their hands on this and I think all the hype behind it is worth it. This will definitely be a hot seller for Ford and for a go to in the off road community

Blue is representative of the trim level. If you have a Wildtrak it is blue, orange if you have a Badlands.

That safe is a great addition! I would always stress when I parked my jeep with its doors off having to make sure anything of value wasnt in sight or locked in glovebox. I def think this truck is going to be a competitor. As a Jeep owner for the past 20 years that will only buy Jeeps, I'm really considering switching.

I got $10k off my gladiator rubicon ecodiesel ordering through Gupton motors in Nashville. They do the same % off wranglers. That means with the markup on Broncos, you’d pay $15k+ more for similar equipment

I'm totally loving the 2 DR Bronco. But this 4D is a very impressive vehicle. The Jeeps I've owned were never higher than a "sport" because I'm in mountain country, and it always was strictly a utility vehicle. I won't buy a new Jeep/Fiat anymore, but a basic Bronco 2DR would be my 1st choice (but in a single upgrade trim).

Ford did a great job with this. I agree with some other comments, wish Chevy did this with the Blazer. I also wish someone would buy the rights to the Scout name and look. I'd love to see a modern version of that.

Ford and EVERY OTHER manufacturer could ELIMINATE this microchip problem by going to AMD and buying TWO AMD Ryzen 5600G APU microprocessor chips for each vehicle which have enough computer horsepower to control ALL parts of the engine AND still run the infotainment system AND be able to display and record 8 streams of 4096 by 2160 pixel resolution video at 60 fps all at the same time (i.e. have eight 4K resolution cameras on the vehicle) You buy TWO chips so that if there is a system failure, there is a backup chip available to fail-over to while on-the-road! Ford and others could simply put these two chips into a ruggedized, water-cooled metal box that is Milspec 810G/IP-69 heat-proof, dust-proof and waterproof-rated and keep it hidden inside the lower-dashboard to run EVERYTHING in the car/truck via cable attachments using multiple rugged fibre-optic Gigabit Ethernet cables or even ruggedized USB-3.1 connector ports! This AMD 5600G combined CPU + GPU chip can be bought in bulk for $220 USD (or even less!) and can run EVERYTHING on every part of ANY vehicle! No more dependence on far-east chip suppliers as the automakers can easily get AMD to sub-contract Texas Instruments to make this chip in the USA by the tens of millions per year! I could redesign the entire wiring system for the Bronco and OTHER trucks IN A MERE FOUR WEEKS by using integrated AMD 5600G CPU/GPU processor chips for engine control and infotainment centre operations plus the control of the 360 degree surround-view vehicle camera 4K video display/recording system all connected via SIMPLE but ruggedized fibre optic cable and/or rugged USB cable assembly. The microchip problem WILL GO AWAY FOREVER with my idea! v
