They absolutely should have kept the grapple blade in, would help the lightning bolt problem a lot, although it should still be nerfed

There 3 main problems this season 1- the Zeus lightning is too strong impossible to counter 2- the wings are bad mobility there too slow and are easy to kill 3 - the loot pools are the same which is an issue for comp and even ranked

1- its easy to counter if youre just looking at them while they are in the animation when theyre going up to the sky 2- they are slow but you can rotate into zone and if u get shot just roll down 3- yeah fairs

Btw if you put ramps above you and use the wings you will do a short pad but you can shoot and build while doing that like if you put a ramp over a pad I’ve been doing it in scrims and it’s really good rotation

The foreward dash with the wings invented by martoz is good mobility imo. I think thats the way to use the wings and thats better than the flowberry.

another problem with the lightning bolt is that there is like no audio, like i feel like there should be a audio to it before the lightning shoots

There is some audio, but it seems to be really quiet. Especially with visualize audio, it almost never appears unless you are right next to the bolt.

For the casuals it’s a solid season. Zeus mythic is insanely fun to use and is a fantastic mythic in the game. POIs are so cool and I love the looks of each POIs. Wings need a slight speed change or no refuel and it would be amazing. Overall love the season

If you don’t take the thunderbolt out of comp here are 2 changes I really want to see 1. Change the cooldown from 5 seconds to 15 or 30. 2. Damage shouldn’t bleed through walls period.

5:07 you can actually you the wings to rotate because as martoz showed, you can bounce off your ramp and get a short boost. That was what I was thinking, so I want to see how that will play out. I feel like it can be used in multiple good scenarios.

Here's the real optimal loadout no matter your drop: - Auto Shotgun - Burst Smg - Flowberry fizz - 3 Medkits - Optional ( either more heals or Sniper)

I think the mythic DMR is surprisingly worth using in a duo W key game when we played the eval cup my duo carried a drum and that and we dropped a 30 bomb it was also a great counter to the lighting

its a good gun but if you dont have the drum mag its so bad, half the time i forget i have one bullet and cant take a repeak or play agressively since its not like a pump reload

I like the Zeus’s lighting I feel like they could just add more ways to tell you are about to be hit like the fear mechanic that was with gokus and MHA mythic as well as a very obvious sound cue

the gatekeeper shotgun is op. you can shoot behind walls with full cover plus it has somewhat close to the damage of a pump with tac speed

gatekeeper is honestly good for build and jumping on someone. if you just hit a little lower you can see you kill people instantly but I agree without drum mag it's lots of time going to sell.

I never take the zeus dmr over any dmr with a thermal scope. That thing is insane for chip damage and people in the air. But in a comp endgame you just dont have the ability to use it because you rarely have enough distance inbetween

@@dachidachi231one problem with that can be that if you get in a bad situation, even if you are on full health, the lightning bolts can do 200 damage if they hit all three, meaning that you can down a player, and their teammate can take you 200 to 0 if you aren’t careful, or they can do 40-80 even if you are.

I think that chapter 5 season 1 was fairly balanced with good momentum and a pretty good lootpool, however with bad momentum except for shockwave, and literally everyone having lightning bolts it's hard and less fun to play the game. #Bringbackgrapplers

The new shotgun needs a buff of somekind as it doesnt have its own spot compared to the pump for box fights and the auto for junping in the new shotgun does less damage then pump too little ammo and shoots slower then the auto while doing simular damage and 5 less in the mag

the wings are broken. if you have the health advantage on someone in a fight and they box up. you can jump with the wings (not take flight) and dive on there box and it does 60 damage through builds. you can also pull your shotgun out almost right away and hit another shot basically killing them instantly.

i mean tbh i feel as if this new shot gun does less damage than an auto edit: not actually but considering the auto has 4x amount of ammo so its better to carry but just get a hammer a purple is consisntley hitting 88 to body in point blank range ive seen me hit it and pros its consistent but consistently bad lmao edit 2 the best drop rn is most likley pleasent piazza as there is a lower risk of dying of spawn and maybe a bout the same chance of getting grim gate medallion so quite a good spot

Zeus just shouldn’t damage through walls. Breaking them is one thing, but doing damage through walls goes against what makes Fortnite Fortnite. It would be pretty cool if it only did damage through metal because it’s electric. Wings are great I think. Punishes people running away. And you can barrel to avoid getting shot but it costs more. Big fan of the wings. You shouldn’t be able to safely get 300m away from the fight
