Nucanoe frontier is a beast rear scuppers definition plug lol im buying a used pursuit next week because i wanted a slimmer kayak for the rivers and for intercoastal i had a kayak buddy 2hp honda its Amazingly light

Great paddling yak. Pretty quick in a straight line. Nucanoe footpegs are a must if you are paddling only. They make and sell them.

Nucanoe does recommend plugging the rear scuppers when having a transom motor as it will squat a little bit when powered. The front scuppers should be enough for drainage if needed, but like you said you're in a kayak everything is going to get wet. I am of a mind set that kayaking is a watersport so getting wet is part of the game.

Exactly! It is no big deal at all and does not affect the performance of the boat.

@@roadtripangler I have had my pursuit for two years now and been extremely happy with it especially when I go on solo trips on rivers and need to paddle upstream for a few miles

Congrats on the job change! Why did you choose the pursuit over the unlimited?

Thanks! The main reason is that I have always liked the way the boat looked. I also knew it would be the most efficient hull shape in their line up. Being longer and a bit more narrow means it will be faster. Still has tons of space and is super easy to rig!
