Yeah have to give it to the modders, but to be fair they do have way more time and freedom when creating suits. Plus they aren’t limited to one body type.

I’d say the official one just needs the webbing to be a bit more dimensional. Everything else is great.

I feel like the body proportions of the modded one is way better. The suit is definitely meant for a leaner build like Andrew's. It kinda looked like it was so tight in the official one, rather than just the right fit.

What I would change on the SM2 one is the headshape. TASM2 headshape is way different than SM2 version.

I'm sorry, but the modded suit is simply better in my opinion in every possible way. The webbing, the lenses, the geometry, the darker blue and the reflectiveness of the red. Everything is basically perfect.

Only problem with the Suit in my opinion are the eyes, they are not the right shape if you look at pictures of the suit ,overall it looks Amazing.

I think the in game version of the suit has to conform with the body build of Peter Parker model in game. While the mod is a literal copy of Andrew's build in tasm2.

Think carefully, then why every other movie suits fits perfectly with the body like it's Tobey or Tom or Andrew in TASM 1 suit. your thinking capacity got a limit.

@@user-nl2do6kb3r nahh if you think and observe carefully, whilst tom, tobey, and tasm1 suits may seem fitted perfectly, it is actually not. We know that that tobey suit has a bit of inaccuracies, tom suit is on the bulkier side especially if you look at his chest, and tasm1 in game movie suit is actually far from recreating the 1:1 copy of the movie design. Especially Raimi and Tasm1 suit has mod that showcases what insonmiac has lacking in their movie accurate suits. But then again, Insonmiac is still incredible at giving us the suit we wanted. And it is cool to think that suits may come off as insonmiac take on the movie suit and not actually 1:1 copy, and I think it is a good variation of the movie suits we knew.

This mod uses proportions based off Insomniac's TASM1 suit. The TASM2 mod you're thinking of is Agro's (which is not in this video).

The webs in Spider-Man 2 looks like they're actually puff painted, something a lot of people do for their TASM 2 cosplays. Did they reference a cosplayer or something? I still like the suit though. My favorite suit in the game for sure.

I think the most important thing to get right on the suit is the mask...and the mod wins. The lenses on the "official" suit are off a bit, the lense shape and positioning on the mask needs some correction. Being a console player all my life, seeing how amazing a job that modders do makes me more n more want to leave for PC. Whoever made this mod, BRAVO👏...your TASM2 suit mod looks better than one created by a multi million dollar game developers.

There's really so many potential suit styles they can add, sick spidey, firefighter hat and whatnot. Same for the raimi suit, 2002/2004/2007 but yeah, that remains to be seen

I love the suit but I always hated how low the logo is. I know they can’t change it cause that’s just how the suit was made in general.

@@brycencurley it’s obviously purposely. Majority of other suits have the logo to big or too up, its own aesthetic is what makes it what it is. Hate or it or love it that’s how it is 👏🏼

I can't comment on this suit as I am a fan of the Raimi suit as the movie and my bias towards that overlooks imperfections of this TASM 2 suit. If only people would stop commenting on the Raimi suit saying the games version is accurate (if you grew up during an era of the spiderman movie, you're naturally going to notice the details cause your brain was growing during your growth therefore the image of the suit will be in your head and you will notice every detail).

the raimi suit mostly looks inaccurate cuz of the webbing being too thick, and headshape being weird. I also think the suit looks off cuz its not tobeys body. Raimi suit fit tobeys body perfectly and looks weird in other body shapes

Mod looks more accurate but imo the game one looks better than the accurate suit, I prefer insomniac spiderman body mainly because his head shape, and the textures on the suit is more detailed

Modded suit is only accurate to movie that doesn't make it better. Insomniac fixed all the issues movie version had so for me Insomniac's tasm 2 suit is what i wanted in the movie.

Dude, literally the entire point of adding a movie suit in a game is to be movie accurate. Not the devs taking creative liberties or straight up messing it up for the sake of it. Is the TASM 2 suit better now after 2 updates in Marvel's Spider-Man 2? Of course it looks better than before. Is it nearly as movie accurate in comparison to the mod? Definitely not. But the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 TASM 2 suit is better than the one in the TASM 2 games.

The VERY first version from PS5 game looked absolutely awful, like it was made for android or even worse. Now they updated it but still nowhere near what modders do...I always wondered how modders community does much better job
