I hope this helps. It sounds fishy to me. Never heard of canceling or closing an account just to update your system. Again, I believe they ran out of funding and just didn't admit it.

Tomo reminds me of the Jasper card. Jasper closed all their customers accounts with no notice.

Hi CurrencyCounts I have a question about the video on getting a collection removed. I submitted the demand to remove a collection by filing with the BBB after I responded that the 1 statement they submitted as validation was not mine. They replied that they will cease and desist and have escalated to the original creditor. What is the bet reply for me. Should I accept that and clarify that I would like the collection removed from my credit report? Thank you so much. 😊

What did they cease and desist? The collection from being reported on your credit report? If so that's the outcome your looking for, just make sure you clarify you want this item removed from your credit report.

They said they revert to original credit as it is a duplicate account and that would no longer attempt to contact me. I replied with the original demand to have the accounts removed from my reports and the BBB sent an email that the matter is closed and they are sorry I am satisfied with outcome. I will check my reports to confirm they removed it as they should. Many thanks for your response and assistance.

yes tomo does report to experian and transunion, if you have not purchased a membership yet, dont. the boost product is a joke, ypur better off with a free service like experian credit boost , even chime credit builder
