I was at the wrecker games and that's exactly what it was, more about games than a competition to beat the other guy. It was more about camaraderie and team work. To help the other guy and above all else, have fun! Which it did in grand fashion. It was awesome to see everyone work together as a team. Matt did a great job putting this event together and inviting Eric and his team from BSF Recovery. Eric was a fan favorite for sure.

Mara, you are using a "semi-auto" window squeegy thingy, it only cleans one stroke at a time. You MUST clean/wipe the squeegy each time you stroke it. Otherwise you leave streaks and transfer some of the grime from the previous stroke onto the next are you are attempting to clean. If the window is particularlly grubby you obviously will need to clean it again, that is just part of recovery life, or life in general. Be safe guys.

From what I learned don't put any return lines on other than AC Delco. Replace the whole line as a set, if one section fails the rest will fail. The rubber gets all brittle and cracks usually. The heat damages them. The trucks getting old, need to replace all the aging rubber lines all over it.

I have often thought about getting the Ridge wallet but I still carry cash and don't like the idea of having to fold it up three times to slip it in that little elastic band. If that wallet doesn't work out for ya or you want to try a different one that is small and compact like that but you only have to fold paper money in half once go over to the Recycled firefighters web page. All his wallets are made from recycled fire hose. Super durable and fits in your front pocket... Just as cool as the ridge wallet at a much more of a reasonable price... Ok , my sneaky wallet commercial is over. But I like how you snuck yours into the video.. I hope you dusted off a space on the shelf for your first place Wrecker Games trophy......lol

Wrecker looks like she’s ready to go, I hope you have fun. Just a little heads up the rope that releases The garage door opener mine caught on my light bar and almost did some damage to the door so I raised the rope up and use a ladder if I have to disengage the opener. That EFI woke up the motor much more responsive but it needs a new muffler Eric. The EFI will give you much more agility on those steep and off camber rocks out in Utah good luck!

Hey Eric !!!! Take extra front axle shafts & proper tools to fix on the trail so you DON"T end up like Matt at the"" Hammers "" with his ""TOY"" Wrecker & Rory had the same issue with ""MATER"" without the proper tools to fix it ,,but they improvised to get it running again !! 🤔🙄👀👀👍👍👍👍👍

My service guy set up right about the time I bought my first house in 1991. Still rely on him.

Left and Right front wheels are wobbling when you take off under power i would say steering rack has play or tie rods are going to let you down i would look in to it but under loads can only see it under loads while driving under speed i bet you would have over steering or under steering or a shake under breaking or at speed might be a loose power rack or under presser

You know what I think after you do the wrecker games in Utah I think they all need to come to Wisconsin into your territory and have round two that add the scores together to find a winner......your rig is a beast in the woods and mudd and all the others either climb or do sand well......let them come over to the deep mudd that you deal with all the time and test out all terrain before finding a winner....just my two cents

The games will be interesting . Matt will run out of fuel, Rory and Matt will forget the keys. Matt and Paul will break something showing off. Merlin is a dark horse, he has a lot of knowledge pulling stuff out of scrap yards but I haven’t seen him do much recovery, he does look after his gear. You two will enjoy it. And put up a good show

Better be careful with that ridge wallet. I have a buddy who had one in his shirt pocket, arced it out on a welder. The electrocution nearly killed him, has permanent brain damage from it.

Could you share your own experience why you are using a small block instead of a big block on a tow/wrecker vehicle? Since in my understanding for this kind of a job you will be needing a healthy amount of torque?
