The whole augment thing confirms they never switched from abilities being coded as mods. They are just hidden and augments replace them with their own version.

Man, there is a ton of content to be made since the Eximus rework. Another aspect that I think people might find helpful, would be showcasing ways for traditionally squishier frames that relied on CC to survive (Revenant and Banshee come to mind, Gyre would probably be in this category as well assuming she gets no buffs in Angels of the Zariman 1.1) to be able to handle CC-immune Overguard enemies. Whether that's with new build guides, in-mission strategy tips, Helminth options, Operator schools, Arcanes, whatever.

I"d still recommend doing it in a 4-player team, but some general choices. Proboscis Cernos does Viral+Slash reliably, which will hit overguard. Another solid option is Bubonico which has Viral for the Overguard and Toxin for the shields. Plague Zaws if you got them give the innate viral as well. Various Useful Frames: Hildryn - As noted, Pillage, super useful. In the teamplay, Aegis Storm makes energy orbs for everyone else (and CC's most of the enemies). Zephyr - Can deflect the bullets by standing on (or well, try and hover over) the objective. Tornados also make everything an AoE weapon and can be infused with elements for status spreads. Wisp - Cheap and easy healing, DPS boost, and some CC. Also Wisp's Ghost is a Taunt and Taunts are the one CC that Overguard doesn't block. Wukong - Monkey boy also has a Taunt in Defy, which deflects the enemies damage back at them (and armour boosts). Trinity - Another solid support, giving you both energy and healing. Also Energy Vampire's percentage based damage can be used an Eximus killer. Lavos - Very beefy survival wise, not concerned with energy sustain. And can apply your choice of Viral (for overguard), Magnet (if you're brute forcing through shields) and Toxin (to bypass shields, though its damage will be unmodded so less useful from his powers). Mag - Mag's 3 is its own little variation of Pillage, restoring team shields while reducing enemy shields and armour. And Mag's 2 is one of your best options out there for slapping an Eximus because it will make your bullets hit dozens of times (and also works to block angles on the target. You do not want to solo-Mag this though as energy will dry out without one of the support frames. Nezha - Since Augments work, Nezha can Warding Halo the Objective. And Nezha's chakram will make enemies take bonus damage, and drop health and energy orbs

I used Resonator on Hildryn for the defence mission. Defence target didnt get scratched

I used Trinity (energy vampire) with Null Star from Nova and the Neutron Star augment, it took me just 12 minutes to finish de defense mission.

I just did a mission earlier and I almost got it but there weren't any enemies, with that said though I found that the xoris is really good at doing damage to the corpus so try the xoris.

Question? Can you get more then 10 voidbloom in a mission ? Also if I got 10 before killing the angel it would never spawn or am I just blind?

I was using lavos got down to that last wave, 2 eximus left and they just killed my pod while waiting for my 4th ability I was so close

I used Inaros prime with Fire Walker Galaxion vandal to get rid of shields Djinn +Reaweaken, +Artax Magistar Sancti and heavy Slam Attack for healing EZ

Excavation, yes hildryn, with probocis and orvius, is the most effective tactic available. Defense, I use octavia with broken scepter to get energy. Survival, still hildryn..

I used this method months ago and I got Grendel very easily, it works even better with a Hildryn team using Elemental Ward lol I strongly recommend using Proboscis Cernos for these missions as viral proc along with Pillage kills enemies very easily

So I was right. They've basically turned the grendel missions into "basically, only this works".

I soloed it with monkey and a good primary with high accuracy. The twin will kill everything for ya

when come 3 eximus units then its over u can kill 2 but third eximus destroy pod.....

I used Octavia's 1 and that was it. Just shoot the nullifier bubbles with the bubonico and it was super easy

Octavia is always best choice for me. They only made It this shitty because their mod system isnt designed to just lower mod effects or ranks temporarily.

This is probably the most offensively worst mission design I've ever played in this game. It says no mods, but it even includes non-mods: Operator, items, arcanes, incarnon. including the eximus enemies and this is just dumb mission design and probably made to trick people into buying Grendel.

Just wait for a 50% coupon and use plat. Ez.
