The heavy slam is amazing against demolishers. They get hit multiple times and cant be knocked away from the blast, meaning they take the full damage.

I had Sampotes as an option for Elite Achimedea so I put Influence, Smite Murmur, and Focus energy for triggering influence. All I did was slam the whole time and did 45% of the damage every round without even building combo. Use the Rauta for easy combo building and reflex coil to hit 90% efficiency and have fun.

Thwomp the playstyle, I should really make one of these it's really cool!

The only time I slam a weapon in WF is on accident.

After watching this video yesterday, I was like I need this since I love hammers. Went and bought a unrolled riven on warframe market for 15p. Rolled it 5 time and got cc/cd/-cc slide. I put this all together and love it. Wanted to say thank you. Its lots of fun.

Glad this is still good, saw Knightmareframe do one of them super specialised high end builds with it after slam damage got buffed, then it immediately got nerfed afterwards, but I wondered how much the nerf affected it.

This video had me try the weapon out and I wasnt having as good of results....then I learned of the Heavy Slam Button and now my Atlas shakes the Earth with every slam!!!!

I know its not a great stance, but shattering storm procs the single line slams with the block combos...just for a future build idea

You could also use Melee Retaliation with Hildryn for a ton of additional flat damage. Or run the mod set that increases slam damage

That made me buy a riven for the sampotes immediately haha that looks so much fun

since youre using heavys, killing blow for that last slot instead of molten impact. minus weaknesses, molten is only about 25% ttl dmg increase. well adding killing blow is another 120%...moding in warframe is always weird. but ya when the slam changes happened, this weapon and a couple others(rip arca titron) were easily "alright what shenanigans is going to happen"

you need to test on disruptions too. for Demolisher enemies

I've slammed so many enemies into space because of the ragdoll physics. I never knew about this weapon until I watched this video... I got it and it blew my mind away.

It's really fun with kullervo and purple shards for crit damage

I have recommended the tenet exec in the past, seems a moot point now

If you want another fun melee weapon to mess with, a tennokai build with the keratinos is really fun, its just a blender

I was thinking of interesting slam weapons and found out that Jat Kusar's heavy attack explosion is counted as slam damage for some reason. Im in process of building it for testing reasons.

Funny, over the last 2 weeks I've been tweaking a frost build for the upcoming cold rework and the Sampotes is the melee I chose. Freezing a group of enemies with Frost's crit augment and smashing them to snowflakes is chef's kiss.

I like to run this with 90% heavy efficiency corrosive and melee crescendo, it only takes 2 finishes to get it up to 2 times and that's corrupt charge right there. you're doing millions once you get it up to 12x

what about the tenet great sword? also, with so close to 100% crit, Melee Duplicate could be powerfull

People MASSIVELY underrate Drifting Contact, fwiw. It's not what you necessarily want for initial combo setups, but it's just so versatile, powerful, and cheap.

I think Melee Duplicate will be your better bet, since you're double-dipping on the slams. Maybe, not sure.

If this wasn't a heavy slam setup, I would've suggested melee duplicate. You're only just over 100% crit chance, which is perfect for that arcane and would double the slammage. Actually, you could swap out sacrificial steel for true steel to keep your heavy slam setup since that should only hit 102% crit.

Inaros just catapulted itself to S rank with it's new rework plus a certain subsumed ability and arcane plus a certain melee weapon and pummmm you got God inaros , I used him last night against steel path murmur and archons (not the boss though) and everything dies so fast millions upon millions of damage with infinite health and energy hes just untouchanlble rightnow , but some KZfaq will let the secret out and DE will drop the nerf hammer again 😢
