In this video, I make an extension shaft to fit two air-filled drums onto a large three-phase industrial bench grinder. This pushed the capacity of the Halifax 524 (Atlas lathe clone) to the max, with the tailstock slightly hanging off the end of the bed ways.
This sander will be fitted with a VFD for variable speed and rotation direction sanding. This machine is to be used in the production of custom-made cricket bats.
