If the major amount is for growth /Equity allocation for long term then you should just do STPs of 9months(again there is no right/wrong time frame). If during these next 9months, you get 10-20-30% correction then you should just prepone part of the STPs. Also put 15% allocation to precious metals like Gold and Silver. As the world moves to less use of Dollars as reserve currency, ideally Gold should be the beneficiary.
