Makes sense if it's a juvenile, and they managed to kill a young Zorah. It's kind of like rusted kushala Daora. It's a variant, but then it moult into its new skin!

The ones who killed the Frost Islands Zorah were humans. The hunters used the boat and dragonators on the map to do the job.

@Sil yes I know that. I'm just curious on who would hunt Zorah. Dalmuir and laviente would fit that role as the perfect predator/enemy to the titan!

Maybe variant depends on where it's born and what nutrients it absorbs. And based on lore, the sighting of a Kirin could signify its upbringing.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was the case. Not quite sure how the Kirin plays into things but having a different diet in different regions of the world would definitely affect its overall growth!

@Chrono Pinoy X I read something about Kirin where it appears when there is a "new lord". For example in World, the birth of Xeno Jiva. So if a Zorah is present in a new game where one awakens, the arrival of a kirin may be expected.

The New World is most likely made up of the two Dalamadurs coiled together before they died. The Guiding Lands has a more volcanic like formation to it since it's an ancient Zorah Magdaros that made it, so that would explain its current shape and formation!

What I see in worlds story is Zorah magdaros just trying to reach the center to die and nourish the environment. But we keep getting in the way and it never comes after us to attack.

Research Commission got in the way because it would've destroyed the New World if it died there. Given how massive the Guiding Lands is, the explosion could easily wipe out a good chunk of the region if not all of it. That said, if the Research Commission did its job the first time, then they wouldn't have so much trouble with it

The final sunbreak update could be a zorah variant or rare species Siege and ruiner nergigante could appear as part of the fight

It would be awesome if they could do something like that, though I don't think they'll do something like that until at least MH6, let's hope it's possible though!
