Today I'm checking out the Crystal Skull from Disney. Is this a good prop replica? Or is a toy? And should YOU buy one?

More toy than replica and too expensive to be a toy is a huge issue for Disney products.

Very true. I wish they went a little bit more authentic sometimes. They have the ability to make these things so more accurate if they want

Just found your channel from RPF. Can't say I'm disappointed. Interesting to see you go through these props and to really see what companies are selling as "replicas"

Thanks for stopping by, appreciate it. The long term plan is to go see real props, costumers, other replicas, licensed or fan. Anything and everything that encompasses the world of filmmaking :)

It looks nice on the shelf. I'm getting one of those museum wire stands for it, like the one that came with the woodo doll.

It looks pretty cool. I don't think I'd buy it, but if i got it as a gift, I'd put it with my Indy stuff

I belive if they did'nt do the whole glow thing and cast the whole thing in one piece it would've much much better. I mean I kinda also belive you can find someone that could print the whole thing from a better material for same price as well. I mean if you know anybody with those industrial 3d printers.

I've seen some made on the rpf, but getting that crystal look might be a little difficult if it isn't cast like the original
