Hey Man, great video, I appreciate the breakdown and I totally understand your point of view. Feel like I need to clarify a few things that might have been interpreted in the wrong way (which is my fault cause I said it lol). Firstly, I wasn't trying to compare leicester's squad to chelsea's. Chelsea obviously have a much better squad, the comparison was more focused on the tactical side of Maresca's game plan. None of us know what he'll do at chelsea but this was just my best guess based on what we know from this season at Leicester. The main point I tried to make in the video is that too much contention for each position is (in my opinion) not a positive thing. There needs to be a certain hierarchy in the team that at chelsea is not set yet. By looking at the best teams in the league, you can pretty much work out the best starting XI (maybe 1 or 2 positions could be different players), but at chelsea there are still so many positions that need to be set (which I think is proven by the fact that none of us can agree on chelsea's best XI). If from one week to the next you swap 3/4 players at a time, you end up with a similar issue Pochettino had. Obviously, this is a problem i think the vast majority of managers dream of having, but when 3-4 big money signings are not playing consistently, I think it can create issues within the squad. Caicedo, Enzo and Lavia are all great players (better than winks), but positional play requires a lot of stability, and if things go wrong with one player, there will be a lot of temptation to try someone else. Obviously there is preseason, but I don't think that will be enough time to find the perfect balance before the season starts. Btw I'm a chelsea fan so I'd be very happy to be proven wrong haha!

When I saw his take i thought that it was a weak assessment as well as lazy. The idea that Leicester has superior players to Chelsea is asinine

Petrovic is not a better goalkeeper than Sanchez but he’s certainly improving and unlike Sanchez was not low on confidence or injured throughout the season.

I lost my mind on that guy's comment section the moment he said we dont have a player to play the deep-lying playmaker role that Harry Winks played because Enzo cant cover ground like Harry Winks, only for that guy to post Enzo having better defensive stats than Winks(while playing in the prem & not championship). I feel that he was now trolling instead of analysing our team

Awesome video, but it's up to the manager & the team to work as a unit. Maresca has got a lot in his hand which is a blessing of great players

Sanchez was bought before Petrovic so he wasn't a solution to whatever shortcomings the young Serbian might have.

In Maresca’s own words his system needs absolute commitment from players, board and fans, being a Chelsea fan this is a philosophical wrong appointment. Sarri tried and failed with positional play. Best would have been to co time with Poch, we are looking to finish in around 10 place again!
