Jerry & Linda have lots of friends because they are just nice people that have a positive attitude. If you settle in any town with a sour attitude, you’ll be miserable. Also, you have to get involved… people won’t come knocking on your door. I live on the West Coast near St Pete in a 55+ community. It’s the same everywhere..

I love my lizard. When I moved in I put a small fountain in the lanai & then went about moving in in the rest of the house. When I went to move the fountain an Anole had moved in. He slept under it, in the electrical cord tunnel, when it was freezing out, he hides in it when he's frightened. He sunbathes on it when the sun is out. He has the life of Reilly! I really enjoy watching him. He's the perfect pet, feeds himself.

Re: bugs: anything that is not in the fridge or freezer needs to go into a container. Pasta, unopened or not will get bugs as the package are not sure tight. Same for crackers, cereals, baking goods, etc. Basically, if it's not in a jar or can it needs to come out of original container and into an air tight water tight container. I bought about 50 new containers for this purpose.

In reference to keeping food in plastic containers - I lived in Corpus Christi for 5 years and never saw a roach or any sign of them in my house. However, when we got ready to move and started pulling things out of the pantry the instant noodle and other gravies that we had - safe from bugs because they were still in their impenetrable packages and found out that the packages had corners chewed out and that we probably had the fattest bugs around and they were just smart enough hide and travel behind walls. So my advice is unless it comes in a tin can put it in a sealed container. Great show today! And glad to hear your sister had a good visit.

Well, you're close, Kevin... But, after years of exhaustive research on my part, i can now tell you the _actual_ truth. Here's what my intensive investigation uncovered: (Hint: Have you ever wondered why you never see Gizmo and Jerry talking at the same time?) The actual truth is that *Gizmo does the voice for Jerry!* Notice that Gizzy is always sitting _behind_ Jerry. That's so he can have his paw in Jerry's back to work the lips. 😂 (Just in case it isn't obvious and needs to be said, this all is meant in good fun, and no offense to anyone is intended. It's just the way my sense of humor rolls. 😁)

Hi Jerry and Linda, I'm almost 60 and love your videos! We would love to move down to TV, but we're fostering kids here in Georgia, and our commitment will keep us here for at least 5 more years! As a request, it would be nice if you can dedicate a section of your show to highlight a different club in TV. Since there are 3000 clubs, I'm sure you can get a lot of juicy material there! 🙂

Federal law supersedes State County local and any association ordinances regarding TV antennas. In other words, it is perfectly legal to place a TV antenna attached to your roof.

Hi, made it to TV for my birthday yesterday. Beautiful weather! Drinking and dancing wasn't as much fun without my husband. I found excellent parking. Drove up to lake Sumter Landing which seemed to have more people. Then drove south of 44 on Buena Vista. Wow! Best part was Wolfgang Puck and a chocolate truffle cake with ice cream! Great birthday.

I had those little tiny ants when I lived in Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club. Our home here in Carolina Orchards in SC doesn’t have them or anything crawly because Pulte put tubes in the walls of the house when they built it. Then we have a contract with a company that tends them and also sprays the outside so we don’t have spider webs, etc. on the outside. This is the least buggy house I’ve ever had.

I like the original shirts better. They have better looking palm trees on them that look more real! We love your show! The haters love to hate for some reason! We like the Mallory pool since it's up on the hill and it gets a breeze and Orange Blossom pool is the fav for us. No I don't yell at him for driving with one hand. Great video!

Jerry and Linda, Sometimes these salty characters write just because they can and they like to rev people up. Some are clueless, many don't give a rats patoot about anything, some are angry at the world and still others just want to make you mad. It's only a small percentage that are salty, though. Keep doing a great job, I love your show.

Love your show! We are currently renting in the Villages, considering buying. We were in Tokyo for a week in November 2022. We loved Tokyo! Our daughter is in the USAF, and stationed at Osan AB, South Korea, so we decided to go to Tokyo during our visit. We took a tour bus to Mt. Fuji. We also took a day trip to Kamakura. We have similar pictures! I never had the desire to visit Asia, but it was an amazing trip!

One time a third-grader described a satellite image of the Villages to another third-grader, who then drew a picture based on what she heard. I have never been to the Villages and I don't know anyone who has, but when I saw the child's drawing I said to myself, not for me. LOL. [Being sarcastic about the one guy's comment that you mentioned. Some people aren't the brightest. I am looking forward to living in the Villages someday.]

Hey Jerry, my Mom lives with me and when we go driving, I can tell she's giving me stink eye if I don't have my hands on the wheel at 10 and 2. Sorry, but I love your bloopers. I do all kinds of crazy stuff. Can't find my phone half the time so I have to go on the computer and ring it. The thing I do that drives me absolutely crazy is when I'm in the car ready to take off, I forget my phone; go back into the house to get it, get back in the car and forget to go to the bathroom; go to the little girl's room, get back in the car and can't find my sunglasses. It's a vicious cycle. My mom use to do the same thing. :) :)

I have never been there but I sure would love to live there. My friend moved there last year and she loves it! Sounds like there is something for everybody. Now I would just have to have gallons of sunscreen but I use it daily anyway. I have had skin cancer. I have to go back and get an exam. Yes go every 6 months and get checked.

My golf cart came with a switch that you can turn off the battery connection for storage or if you don’t use the cart for awhile. Probably will never use it because 99.9% of the time I use the golf cart.

My cats Gunny and Sarge go nuts trying to catch the lizards on the window screen there is a window between them but they still team up trying to catch them I’m afraid that might hurt there paws because the slam up against the glass. They just keep tying

In answer to Peter's video question, Yes! Antennas do work in the garage. If you do not have a radiant barrier. My Brother in law put one in 4 years ago and I plan to have one too shortly. Great question.

I got the scoop about the McDonalds box!!! My grandparents love the show but arnt the best when it comes to technology so they are having me write it from here. Apparently in a previous episode of yours you went to McDonalds to get an adult happy meal but were dissatisfied with the service and didn’t even get it in a kids meal box. So… they decided to mail you one as a joke so you could have the box you wanted!! I told them to credit themselves with it but they felt like it wouldn’t get on the show, thus no point in crediting themselves. I’m in shock it even made it on but thank you for the laughs. I’ll try to convince them to reach out via email.

I can't stand for my lips to be dry, so chapstick or lipstick is a must. I feel your frustration about losing the lipstick -- or anything you drop. I'm always amazed when I drop something and can't find it, even though it HAS to be right here within a small radius. RIGHT HERE. Sometimes I never find it again. I don't have a lot of clutter it can be hiding in. Is there a tiny black hole in my house, lol😊?

Great show you two. We head out from Appleton, WI on Saturday morning to the Brownwood area for our Lifestyle visit. Our daughter Carley can't make it due to a great job opportunity so my mom is taking her place. She is unbelievably excited to get there. She usually spends time in the Fort Meyers area.
