Just changing it to a double/dual refrigerator situation was a brilliant upgrade. That is seriously one of the most genius ideas. Definitely makes the most sense for a large family.

I never heard of a double fridge. Just side by side doors or something different? I like this look without the handles even, can't wait to see the outcome.

So cool! I would have done this in a heartbeat when my four kids were at home. We ended up with the normal fridge and one in the garage for overflow but that led to tons of double purchases which was a money waster on things that went bad quickly.

Yes! This was my issue. We have a stand up freezer In The garage that I always over stock because I can’t remember what’s there. Things go bad. Etc. It’s so nice to open these are see everything

I've only seen it once before, probably 40/45 years ago. I always thought about doing it, but didn't. Now my son wants one of the big double sized ones. What a waste. Great idea. Looking forward to seeing what you do.

Same just happened to me. I went from 20 to 26, but those bottom freezer ain't that big once you get stuff in it 🤦🏽♀️
