I run a makerspace and got one, it is soooo close to being the best tool to keep the shop floor clean. If they came out with a new version that improved on it some I would totally upgrade

Dude. This is so rad. Great review and video. I would totally get this when I got a house, for my garage or just even in my house. Seems to be the power of a regular vacuum cleaner but on a robot platform. What drives me nuts though about all round robot vacuums is that they always shape the vacuums in the round form and end up putting the brush in the middle. I like my neato xv-21 series(older now) because it's shaped like a "D" and the brush is as far forward and to the edges of the robot possible. I guess the round shape helps it prevent it from getting stuck and also the side brushes help with corners and walls, but it misses the tough floor/carpet sweeping the D shape has.

My friend manages a large hotel. They use those to clean the banquet rooms. There’s a model that comes with its own garage, and if anyone comes into the room while it’s vacuuming, it will run away and lock itself in the garage, so that nobody hits it with a sledgehammer and puts it out of commission.
