Having fun with sniper is essentially having fun waiting for your opponent to make mistakes and punishing them for it. Other heroes can do suprise moves, intelligent gambles, powerful all ins, and show off your skill gap. Sniper just focuses on punshing your opponents misplays and then typing ":)" to damage opponent mental.

I feel dirty when I play sniper mid. at my rank even in bad match-up he can still do so much by tanking up. (bkb is so strong in him, as the enemy needs to commit so hard on you but then you just bkb)

I agree with half of this. Yes it’s important to follow the pace of the game, but sometimes there will be games where you will be the pace and they are waiting on you to get an aghs to start doing stuff, so if you didn’t go back for maelstrom slardar potentially would’ve started being more aggro

Your pick Viper and sniper wont be able to farm! max Q and passive, and ult at level 6! Starting items are Tangons, 3 branches, circlet and a Faerie Fire, then bottle and upgrade your circlet into Wraith Band, and the lane is over for sniper!

Wait... there is a legitimate aghs build? No sniper main here... but doesn't it suck like a lot with the mana cost beeing so huge early? Also just wondering: Why against melee guys getting headshot? For the % chance to harass? Is it valid to take the range first? To harass reliably from a bigger distance? Is there a situation where the range is far better than the headshot?

Shrapnel makes melee guys really hard to walk up to creeps and you really want shrapnels if you can since it speeds up your farm. Puck does not need to walk into shrapnel to get creeps since he can orb or attack from range so less time in shrapnel. 2 points in range let’s you hit towers so if you can freely hit the tower and the enemies don’t want to lane against you at all e.g. they are destroyed mid, it could be better.

Lots of agi heroes have trash mana and Regen. Null is the most cost efficient mana Regen item and provides additional stats for damage and hp

Bro under immortal sniper is the most OP hero in the midlane.there is no single hero that can win lane against sniper if the player skills are equal.even strom cannot lane against sniper u will run out of health u have to jugnle lvl 4 or get 2 last hits for 600 damage

Yes, simply pick Viper, max Q and Passive, you can take your W at level 4 or 5 if you wish! Anytime he attacks you just spam your Q forcing him to retreat, once you hit level 6 if sniper shows up in lane you just ulti him and break his passive, few more hits with your Q and he is dead! Sniper is very simple to counter and I don't agree with BSJ on this one! I'm surprised there is no mention of viper in the comment section!!!!!

The issue is (with many things) the lower your MMR, the less likely Sniper is to be targeted. And let it be known from experience, games where you/your team refuse or cant target sniper are some of the most annoying games possible. Its legit aids to play against a farmed Sniper who isnt getting killed off.

BSJ please check out this replay and see for yourself how unreal this storm and muerta were. I get two like this every single game, whether they're smurfing or coming from league of legends is irrelevant. Match ID 7722692948. Do not criticize my early match strategy or items or what I did for the first 20 minutes, please. I know it is not the ideal way to play my hero. ☺️ The question remains, is this storm and muerta the average heralds? Is this normal? I won, despite being suicidal from the start this match because of earlier matches. Any feeder from above 8k will have a hundred percent win rate in below 5k MMR matches, including my bracket. Please can you tell us what they will do to win? Thank you! ☺️
