As an older Millennial or a Xennial she sounds silly. We were taught that we should be accepted as we are, when it comes to things we can not change. As far as hair goes that means no one should be punished for wearing their natural hair. The Crown Act prettry much covers that issue, unless it's a safety issue. The Crown Act does not cover hair colors that do not occur in nature. She obviously wasn't raised to believe her unnatural hair color is going to be accepted in a corporate environment. I say that because she starts off by stating her parents told her she needs to change her hair to a natural color if she wants to be taken seriously in the corporate job market. She does have a couple of options if she really wants to keep her hair blue and find a job. The easiest option would be for her to invest in a quality wig or two with that has a natural hair color. She can also do some research and apply for jobs at companies that have a culture of allowing free and creative self expression through dress and appearance.
