@@MercedesBenzSouthWest The Nürburgring was famously nicknamed as “The Green Hell” by Sir Jackie Stewart after he won the 1968 German Grand Prix amid a rainstorm and thick fog. The infamous crash was perhaps the one of Niki Lauda 1976 at Bergwerk. If you plan to visit the Nürburgring and drive during the Touristenfahrten, do not bring the G63, get an AMG GT😉. Then give me a call and I will take pictures. Well, bring the G63 anyway 😅

Luckily, the extensive MB model range allows enough choice to suit everyone! The 500 and 550 engines are top tier, as well as the 63. However, we also don't understand why there aren't any grab handles above the door 🤔 at least the G-Wagon has the central grab handles for entry and off-roading!

This may be something we can expect on the next facelift... The G-Class is possibly the last model in the range to receive a touchscreen and extended MBUX technology.

@@MercedesBenzSouthWest nice.. and please.. before you upgrade the face-lift with a touchscreen, let the next model just have a touchscreen infotainment with the current face. You can do the face-lift in two years or later model.. let's enjoy the present model but with a touchscreen infotainment. I'm sure a lot of people would want that for a start.

We were very lucky to witness the G-Wagons off-road capabilities during the Mercedes-Benz Global Training in Mallorca this year. Our very experienced Mercedes-Benz AG drivers took us out and showed us the G-Class from various angles in various conditions. We are very confident that it is a suitable off-road vehicle, but appreciate that few people may use it for this. However, it's good to have the choice.

A real off-road vehicle is characterized by a high wading depth, an intake manifold that is far above the hood, a reasonable winch and tire pressure control system. Good ground clearance and large departure angles at the rear and front. Axles that are 100% lockable and have terrain reduction or terrain reduction. A mechanical transmission is also important. It is then still important that the axes can be correctly interlaced. That would depend on what you are comparing it to in regards to speed... We raced the G63 against the SL63 and the EQS53 and it was naturally last every time, because it's so big and heavy! Doesn't mean it's not iconic though 🙂 I'm sure the EQ update will provide more performance!

@@rafaelfigueroa2479 Thank you for your comment! It is all speculative currently, but we have seen evidence of an EQ variation of the G-Class. We do not concretely know what will happen to the G-Class ICE though, so we are enjoying it whilst we can!

We can't disagree with that - The G-Wagon diesel is the OG. With any engine, this car is an icon.
