I tried playing on Bloodsail Buccaneers, but for me, the ping is 350ms. HC is all about clutch moments, and I dont want to lose days' worth of grinding due to server lag.

6:30 that guy. The wand was still firing because the server still believed he was standing still. That's also why he was taking damage from something he couldn't see. The "test" only really suggests that lag wasn't on his side. The chat/guild/party is handled by a different server for the whole realm, whereas there's a server for each layer handling creatures/player attacks. That was probably lagging. I think there would be grounds for an appeal there if he died.

My mate and I are playing a Shaman and Hunter duo right now, since our Warlock and Mage duo died in Skull Rock Cave from Gazzuz. And one thing I that is really important is the Earthbind Totem. Saved us soo many times !

Gazzuz is no joke man. You have to kite him around the pillars to continuously LOS him. Otherwise his shadowbolts chunk you.

I've started playing wrath and the power of shaman totems cant be underestimated. Use ability to reduce attack frequency, damage reduction totem/slow totem are godsends.

had he stayed on and killed the mob that he intitally hit he could've survived that 3 pull. When he jumped down he attacked a full hp target instead of the one that was already at 60% hp

The RP walk is a feature of the gamepad support. If you push the analog just a little you walk rather than run.

@@krazzedk9551 yeah, but in the video the comment was that he was switching back and forth really effortlessly. What allows that is the fact that the gamepad support links the toggle to a threshold on the analog =)

Classic hunters always have no defense or melee weapon skill from never levelling in melee usually because pet + ranged is enough to take most mobs down. So when they get in trouble they get absolutely destroyed by crushing blows with little chance of avoidance despite having free dodge from agility and can't land their melee attacks/wing clips.

@@JabliickoCZ there is more buttons and combinations then skills. L1 and L2 works as modificators. So L1 is like shift.

I've done Ironman challenges for years starting back in cata and one thing I've learned , some quest are best left alone. I'm on my second hardcore run, died at level 16 to that elite mob that patrols Loch Modan, totally didn't see him around and got one shot.

That exactly thing happened to me. I was making potions chilling on the road and the 3 20 elites jumped me completely off guard. Lucky I was able to nova and run away and lived. So close to death and scared the fuck out of me.

The game and chat are actually on separate servers. Writing test in the chat box doesn't help you to see if you're still lagging.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but doesn't blade flurry and cleave work as transferring the damage from the first critter your attacking or is there another damage calculation? Like how people execute cleave WW to cause execute level hits to be spread out?

blade flurry works a little different than cleave, first off it only hits 1 extra target and it does the damage to the second target as you to your target so it is better to target the weaker/softer target for damage wise ( but may not want to for combo points ) were cleave is like a second attack that has is on own rolls in hit/crit and damage if you miss on your main target with blade furry you do no damage to a second target while with cleave you still have a change to still hit the second target or even crit on

Frost Shock is level 20, they were both level 14. Both of them played bad in this situation. Hunter running around like a headless chicken, not kiting the mob but his mate, the shaman wasting all his resources clipping his own Flame Shock rather than healing or dropping Earthbind Totem

7:20 the lag in this clip is server side, otherwise none of his “test” messages wouldve popped up in chat. So ye literally almost died because the blizz servers are just trash, nothing new, but that doesnt make it less frustrating

Everyone always saying rogues mbad at solo elite stuff. But if your rogue has good gear it will absolutely destroy during lvling. I had one i gave it some blue weapons and stuff and i murdered things in the fastest way possible. Stuff that was really hard for even the strongest of characters my rogue just butchered up front in no time without breaking a sweat.

It's not a DC. It's upload throttling. They are getting downstream info from server, but not enough upload data to update character on server side from player inputs, so any updates they do with their character are not going through to the server. It's why they are not being disconnected and they still see what is happening server side to their character, but have no control over it. Happened to me when I have too many torrents running eating all my upload bandwidth.

alright just hear me out. wow has constantly made things easier and easier. What if they just made a hard game? The one life is cool, I much rather it be like -2 levels and lose your loot though. I'm not that hardcore ha. FFXI was the shit back in the day, reminds me alot of this. Slow game play, that makes you think. OMG people might actually CC in dungeons again. AMAZING.
