This is a collectors item, no different than a $300 action figure. Not a toy like those Arcade1up machines.

Basically it isn't worth 300 dollars if you're just a casual fan but if you do buy it and you're a fan of the series and the game itself it's money well spent.

@@CoryB_1980 I can see something like the arcade 1up cause the size makes it actually playable. At $300 you're starting to hit the "why don't I take stuff I have plus some particle board and build my own. Nintendrew did that.

The original Sega Master System controllers had a screw-in mini joystick, but Sega removed it not long after. But I so wish they had an HDMI out port too.

Personally I prefer the 2003 series as well, I love that it is much closer to the tone and style of the original comic.

A huge red flag to me is the only people who talk about this positively say how at this price it's only geared towards to the most hardcore Turtles fans/collectors. So the jacked up price is artificially creating a high-priced collector item that's not worth it because it's a great product itself - it's just b/c there's a high-priced license item available to purchase. They got that license and are preying on some of you guys. When he's talking about the $300 price and showing the cramped multiplayer layout and it's $300 for that lmao. Great video though.

Any gamer from the 80s and 90s dreamed having an arcade machine. But I hate to see all this companys to suck our blood cashing on our nostalgia. Paying $300 up to $ 500 or more ( same price we would pay for a real console ) and all the give us is a joke size and 2 or 3 games.

My two complaints with both of the TMNT arcades are as follows: there are some particles stuck between the glass and the black bezel that I can not remove, as the panels of the units are glued and not screwed in. Also, my Turtles In Time unit's screen has two twin dark lines due to the pixel lines being too far apart, otherwise the screen is fine.

I've got a particle in between my screen and glass too, a little annoying. As far as the lines go, you can go into the settings and disable the scan lines to fix that..

Almost all these cabinets I see are uploaded by reviewers who got it for free and none by fans who paid for it, that explains it all 😂

The company doesn't understand its fans, 1 game, $300? authentic or not that's insanity and that's why they need all the promo they could get@@RetroDodo

If all they had done was release a large library of retro TMNT games in one cabinet, and just sold a few versions of the cabinet (Most people would probably pick the aesthetic of their favorite one) this would seem like a much easier buy. Being just one game? Pass.

Have you tried plugging it in directly with a USB-C cable? I think that's how I got it working!

CRT scanline filter. Can be turned off in a menu but unfortunately the reviewer didn't show this.

Think you've missed the point of a ¼ scale replica. Saying the sticks are tiny is the equivalent of commenting on a scale model of a car that the steering wheel is too small for you to turn it.
